You are mischaracterizing the plot.

 

I was reading this all over the web, maybe they are. I'm just opening this up for discussion. What I'm saying is think mirror. The left tells you one thing and it's exactly what they're doing.

 

The plot involves rich people hunting ordinary people for sport but doesn't get into the political leanings of the combatants.

 

If I may offer a suggestion. Don’t invite the children to the big people’s table for discussion. It’s over their heads.

 

That would leave like 5 people on this forum.

 

Well. For the most part I disagree. There are just a select few too immature for discussion. Others are reasonable.

If that quote is correct then yes absolutely this is a problem.

Now normally I wouldn't care, but but given the the current environment I say throw everybody under the bus, they I certainly would go batshit crazy if the quote was illegals vs deplorables.

 

I actually wanted to see this and made no connection in any way to Trump or politics...

Maybe I'm weird.

I've actually read the book, never seen the movie.

But I'd go see this one for the same reason I went to see Aladdin and The Lion King.

Guess I cant now.

 

Don't think so-----movie needs to go in the garbage. If people copycat what they saw in the movie, who gets the blame? Hollywood is STUPID!

First off it is not a film about political philosophy it is a movie about class against class..

 

And the democrats dream of nullifying free expression begins..they should be able to make whatever movies they want..nobody is forced to watch them

 

I agree the film looks idiotic and I can't believe it was funded, but they aren't responsible for the actions of others, unless they in context explicitly demand people take violent action immedietly.

It could be an opportunity to make it clear how ****ing stupid all this antagonism toward your political opponents is.

Maybe they'd try to recruit normal people and they're taken aback that everyone on all sides they ask is appalled at the suggestion they should become violent.

But I doubt that's the route they'll go down.
