    Former Vice President and 2020 Democratic candidate Joe Biden told a crowd in Iowa Thursday that “poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids," an awkward moment that came during a conversation about discrimination faced by low income students.

    “We have this notion that somehow if you’re poor, you cannot do it. Poor kids are just as bright and just as talented as white kids,” he said during a town hall in Des Moines.

    He had multiple episodes of FUBAR this week, from calling Theresa May "Margaret Thatcher" (for the second time in as many months), to threatening a young girl.

    He probably MEANT to say that, but he didn't say that. What slipped was what he was really thinking.

    Why can't we laugh at stupid things politicians say and not worry about the letter next to the name? Foot-in-mouth disease isn't partisan.

    Of course an occasional foot in mouth when someone is making speech after speech is not the end of the world. But giving a thumbs up at a mass killing and farting out about your crowd size is not acceptable behavior.

    Trump supporters claimed right from the start that Trump says what is on his mind, he says what he means, and he means what he says. So taking the Trumpocity literally is not a liberal deal.
