That's why they get hung up on photoshopped pics of Dems wearing flag pins. The desperation is amazing.

Yes, it’s all a conspiracy against the greatest most stable genius president we have ever had.

And the earth is 2000 years old... it’s also flat.

    Not on Day 1.
Nor Day 2 - the customary honeymoon period. 2 months or so.

The dogs of News Media, Inc. attacked in revenge for Hillary's defeat.
    Tell me that ain't so.
Too much News Media monopolies going on.
We need anti trust activities for diversity's sake.

Care to attach total employment over the last 10 years? You will see even with the spike in manufacturing (which has seen a drop lately) everything is following larger trend lines.

And yes. Polls that track popular support were largely correct — Hillary won the metric that was being measured.

I’m not even saying trump won’t win in 2020 — he likely will via the electoral college, again — just that the majority of Americans hate him.

Again, we have never had a president that was a three time adulterous bankrupt billionaire failed reality tv star con artist that had just paid off a porn star to not mess up his election campaign.

Like I said. He deserves the publicity he has

He didn’t deserve a honey moon period, he couldn’t even pull off a pv win over a woman that was hated by just about everyone.

Care to show us just 1 "honorable" poll you claim exists?

    Just 1.

President Obama had a fawning press who minimized the negatives and accentuated the positives. But he was at least given a chance. He did have a positive approval rating in 2009 but never reached 50% approval in any year following that despite favorable media conducting those polls. He did enjoy 50+% of the popular vote in both elections, mostly because he had such unappealing competition. His approval rating was similar to Trump's at this point in his Presidency before sinking lower--he did finish on a high note mostly due to the media's interest in electing Hillary I think.

President Bush got less than 50% of the popular vote in his first election, just over 50% of the vote in the second. His approval rating was sky high at this point in his presidency but sank to very low depths in his second term.

President Clinton, also with a mostly supportive press, did not get 50% of the popular vote in either of his elections. His approval rating was similar to Trump and Obama at this point in his presidency. He did finish on a high note mostly due to a good economy due mostly to legislation that he reluctantly signed into law, and due to media and Democrat sympathy over his ill advised impeachment.

President Trump will be running on a very strong track record in 2020. And hopeful the IG and Durham reports will have exposed the deep state activities intended to destroy him by the time the people go to the polls. The mainstream media will likely not report that or will minimalize it as much as they think they can, but the word will get out. And President Trump will be elected to a second term, I am predicting by a much larger margin than the first election.

He's a boomer after all, so I am not surprised he'd go after video games, or the very least comment on it. Like all other media before it video games gets blamed for crap it doesn't affect to begin with.

Hell, games have been proven for TWO decades to have the opposite effect of what is claimed to "cause violent tendencies/behaviour".

It's not surprising he went after my hobby considering he's a boomer. His ignorance is showing. It does however sting none the less.

Trump is wrong on video games causing violence, and so are people who believe this drivel.

Next up is his speech of which I take issue with.
    https://www.rev.com/blog/donald-trump-statement-on-mass-shootings-full-transcript-of-remarks

"The shooter in El Paso posted a manifesto online consumed by racist hate. In one voice, our nation must condemn racism, bigotry, and white supremacy. These sinister ideologies must be defeated. Hate has no place in America. Hatred warps the mind, ravages the heart, and devours the soul. We have asked the FBI to identify all further resources they need to investigate and disrupt hate crimes and domestic terrorism. Whatever they need. We must recognize that the internet has provided a dangerous avenue to radicalize disturbed minds and perform demented acts. We must shine light on the dark recesses of the internet and stop mass murders before they start. The internet likewise is used for human trafficking, illegal drug distribution, and so many other heinous crimes. The perils of the internet and social media cannot be ignored, and they will not be ignored."

This to me is a red flag for sure as it sounds a whole lot as "hate speech" of which the Regressive/Far Left are screeching about. Really, Donald? You possibly going down this rabbit hole? Or is there something going on of which I don't know?

I will observe closely, but if Trump is going down the path of "hate speech", he's going to lose a lot of supporters, especially those who support free speech and the First Amendment for that matter. Combine this with my love for video games he's edging close to lose my support too for that matter.

Thirdly is his Tweets on this particular issue:
    https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1159797314900451330
    https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1159797315680555014
Is this a call for coming together to actually find solutions to the mental illness issues and plethora of loopholes pertaining to acquiring firearms, or is it just pandering to the Left?

Again I will observe, but to me this isn't looking too good from my perspective.

Phony accusations? LOL, that's rich, especially coming from someone who accused the Democrats of not wearing flag pins at the debates.

Glad you're prepared for him to win reelection. Whatever silly things you want to come up with to rationalize it in your mind is fine with me.

To set the record straight (as if it matters to anyone but you)

First Dem Debate: four out of 10 wore pins... The four Democrats who wore flag pins on their lapels were New York City Mayor Bill De Blasio, Ohio Rep. Tim Ryan, Hawaii Rep. Tulsi Gabbard and former Maryland Rep. John Delaney.

Second Den Debate: Only two candidates – Biden and entrepreneur Andrew Yang – wore American flag pins during Thursday’s debate. Sanders wore a pin but not an American flag.

Now take your photoshopped pics and run along.

Gallup. Quinnipac. Rasmussen. One other I can't think of have had him at 50 or 51% every once in awhile. He still ranges mostly in the mid 40's on average when all the polls are included. And even that can be misleading because only Rasmussen polls daily.

I didn't say they didn't wear flags at debates. I said they were not wearing flag pins in the group shot at a recent debate in the photo I posted.

At this point in the presidents term, Trump's approval rate is exactly the same as Obama's was as the same point in his first term. Considering the quantity of trash being thrown at Trump, that would say Trump is probably a lot more popular in a relative fashion than Obama was.

Obama got re-elected with a 5 million vote margin, 51 to 47% over Romney.
So far, the dems lack anybody who might remotely approach Romney in broad voter appeal.
Vegas odds makers have Trump as the odds-on favorite, and improving steadily against all democrat candidates.
