Regarding Trump's foreign policy, Trump is either making a fool of himself or his foreign policy is a threat to our national security.

Here we have an example of the former.

According to a Trump tweet, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un offered “a small apology” for the ongoing missile tests — and said they were in retaliation for the joint military exercises that American and South Korean forces have mounted.

“In a letter to me sent by Kim Jong Un, he stated, very nicely, that he would like to meet and start negotiations as soon as the joint U.S./South Korea joint exercise are over. It was also a small apology for testing the short-range missiles, and that this testing would stop when the exercises end,” Trump wrote.

It is beyond Trump's comprehension that Kim is making a complete fool of him. The rest of the world is laughing at Trump.

 

Questions:
--What is the full context of the photo. What was happening there?
--What was said and by whom that prompted the smiles?
--If it is so reprehensible to smile or give a thumbs up, why is the baby's uncle smiling?
--Why is this inappropropriate, let alone reprehensible?

Can you answer any one of those questions with any firsthand knowledge or via a credible source that isn't a we-hate-Trump-all-the-time publication or group? If you cannot, how can you say it is reprehensible? Or that you are not by spreading a false narrative or impression?

The President and the First Lady went to assure support to people who had endured a great tragedy. And all the left can do is politicize it and smear the President. That is what is reprehensible.

By Friday, the photo had been widely disseminated after it became clear that the infant had lost his parents in a mass shooting, and had been brought back to the hospital after being discharged earlier in the week. In El Paso, Mr. Anchondo said that the attention surrounding his visit with the president had only brought more pain to his family.

Not true. It's the fact we now have open lines of communication that's important. Not what you think the whole world thinks.

 

Does it matter? He tried to commit suicide a few weeks ago. If he was not under suicide watch, that's actually a bigger problem. Why not?

This time Trump's tariffs will impact consumer products like shoes, computers, and cell phones. His previous tariffs didn't.

Trump's tariffs causes inflation. Inflation causes less demand. Less demand causes loss of employment. Econ 101.

At every funeral I have been with the family, attended the service, helped with the followup there have been grief and tears and also laughter and encouragement and appreciation and positivity. Ditto when dealing with disasters. It isn't all solemn faces and solemn grief.
