Who was really not happy? Does freedom of expression not exist for anyone not of the Left? Should the police not have protected the marchers?

Well, you know if its not for marginalized groups, then its obviously hatred against them.
"I am proud to be black" said the black man.
"I am proud to be Asian" said the Asian man.
"I am proud to be gay" said the gay non-gender specific person.
"I am proud to be white" said the racist.
"I am proud to be straight" said the homophobe.

If it was a straight “pride” parade why were many of those in attendance holding anti-gay signs?
And almost exclusively men in redhats + a few Pepe the frogs.

Do you frequently show how “proud” of some (hopefully soon irrelevant) characteristic that is important to you by bashing others that don’t share those same traits?

Is an Irish parade about hating Germans?
White pride march about hating blacks?
    Christmas parade about hating Jews?
Thin blue line March about hating non-officers?

It’s a pitiful event by pitiful people

I wonder what the overlap was between these marchers and the incel whiners....

Do you have any evidence of this? The only issues I see, and signs being presented, are by counter protests.

Because of course we know how the Right is so tolerant of gay marriage and women being able to have the right to choose when it comes to what is inside her body.

Point being that BOTH....BOTH sides have people who are NOT tolerant of others views.

Ok, that in no way addresses what you quoted me on.

    Try again.

It was asked why the police didn’t protect the “straight pride” marchers.
How would you have liked them to have been protected?

    You can also go to the websites behind these marches;
National Straight Pride Coalition rants about gay people, abortion, and children not having a home because of the lgbt community (it has been toned down substantially since they lost their permit to march in CA as it once was covered in rebel flags and anti-gay signs)
And super happy fun america which is just blatant trolling.

    Not that you really care.

Why would I care if she or he or whatever is offended by my identity and self-expression?

If I was in Boston for this I would have gone and held a sign supporting human rights for all and pride or indifference or whatever you want towards your identity. It's your identity.

I have no beef with almost anyone. If people are holding signs saying hateful things on either side of the debate I'll be especially keen to have a conversation with them. Discussion does nothing but give me a chance to change their mind.

I think the pertinent point made in the video is that straight people were never discriminated against in the way gay people were. It was never illegal to be straight. The march was organised in opposition to gay people not in support of straightness. That is where the objection to the parade is coming from.
I'm not gay but I would never join a parade calling for a return to normalcy. That is the point.
Live and let live is my philosophy.

So........a pro Hater-in-Chief parade masquerading as a "straight pride parade" (I've haven't heard of many stories about people getting beaten up for being straight) resulted in the police pepper spraying protesters. Imagine my surprise.

Leftists are now protesting heterosexuality, and members of congress are funding bail for those arrested for attacking people at the rallies.
