The climatology division of NASA has been too heavily politicized to take seriously. In reality they have nothing to do with the scientist and engineers that put men in space and on the moon and are just a bunch of warmers using the revered name of NASA to gain credibility.

And who must I prove this to? You perhaps? You will be judge and jury while I try to convince you that NASA climate division is politicized? No thanks lol. I'll just agree with Trump on this one and leave it at that.

"Donald Trump is poised to eliminate all climate change research conducted by Nasa as part of a crackdown on “politicized science”, his senior adviser on issues relating to the space agency has said.

Nasa’s Earth science division is set to be stripped of funding in favor of exploration of deep space, with the president-elect having set a goal during the campaign to explore the entire solar system by the end of the century"
"Bob Walker, a senior Trump campaign adviser, said there was no need for Nasa to do what he has previously described as “politically correct environmental monitoring”.

The Jurassic era was much warmer than today and earth was virtually covered with plant life

The earth will always be covered with plants. That doesn't mean heat is always good for plants.

Couldn't I make the same claim about you and most climate skeptics who I can claim to be far-right? I prefer to look at someone's evidence rather than dismissing everything they say because I don't like their politics.

Yet you earlier said more heat will reduce plantlife. In the Jurassic period there was more of the earth covered in plants than now. Swamps where there are now deserts forest where there is now ice

Can you back up your claim there was more plant life in the Jurassic and that heat and CO2 were the cause?

Global warming has become politics so when you have true believers running NASA climatology it's politicized. Unfortunately climate change itself has become politics not science and NASA climatology has chosen a political side. They summarily dismiss any opposing views and desperately attempt to prop up all the failed AGW predictions and science.

And the dissent at skepticism itself has become political. If you want to disregard everyone with a political opinion then basically you are asking everyone to ignore you and your thread.

Never claimed heat and C02 were the cause only that heat by itself doesn't mean less plantlife. As for Jurassic period earth covered in vegetation that's kind if common knowledge isn't it.

    IC LANDSCAPE

"The Jurassic period (199.6 million to 145.5 million years ago) was characterized by a warm, wet climate that gave rise to lush vegetation and abundant life"

But nowhere in your source does it say that this plant life was greater than today. Of course we can only count pre-human plant life given how much forest we have leveled. Plants were still going through some major evolution and we were seeing new forms of plant life evolve in the Jurassic.

NASA climatology is politicized so their so called science is not worth considering as it is tainted with politics

Well it supported billions of Dino's. Don't think our vegetation today could do that.

And the same would go for your posts and research done by climate skeptics.

Can you justify your claim that our forests, before humans cut them down, couldn't support the dinosaurs? And you still have to justify that they were bigger because of heat and CO2. If they were bigger for another reason, then they aren't relevant to this debate.

Once again I never claimed they were bigger because of warmth and C02. I only responded to your assertion that a warmer climate means less plant growth which you can't prove and tried to justify with a NASA climatology chart generated by a heavily politicized organization. Where's your evidence that a warmer climate means less vegetation?

What was the CO2 15,000 years ago.

Those damn humans 15,000 years ago were some carbon producin fools, it seems.

If only we had the technology to build a structure that could house plants....then we could pump it full of CO2 and really raise the temperature to see what would happen...

I hereby lay claim to the term "green house" (tm).

So if we raise temperatures by another 5 degrees, that will dusty old California into a tropical paradise!

What did the earth look like when the temp was +20c and the CO2 concentrations were about 8k?

Kansas was underwater and the rest of the US was a big desert.

Nothing that would convince you and letting you throne yourself as judge and jury while I present fact after fact that you reject is not a game I will play. Nice try though.:)
