That map was three days old by the time he tweeted on Sunday.
When he tweeted, on Sunday, that it was "most likely" that Alabama would "get hit (much) harder than anticipated", there was no longer any risk to Alabama.
As confirmed by the NOAA just a few minutes after Trump's tweet.

His tweet was wrong. It is pretty pathetic that you won't accept it.

 

FYI, this is Trump's own doing. He is the one who brought out the altered map, and is constantly tweeting gibberish and nonsense on something he should have walked away from days ago.

4. The map certainly shows the hurricane on a course towards Alabama.
5. Trump made these comments on September 1st. The hurricane did not change course to the north until 2 am on September 2nd.
6. While I do agree that Trump's "chicken little" act was a bit over the top and his refusal to correct his error was quite flagrant, this is not a serious crisis or major issue. only the most pathetic, petty, and desperate people would see it as something of significance.

Trump's faked map was a direct consequence of his goof regarding Alabama. What is troubling is not his goof, but his chronic impotence in his capacity for ever admitting error. Consequently, as a result of his insecurity, he obsessed over his bogus forecast, and lied about it.

For Trump, it's all about Trump, and so his wonky prediction became, for him, more important that the actual hurricane's path and those in it.
