Nothing has changed! hahahaha there is no rule that changed

Mueller coudn't indict, because you can't indict a sitting President....he could recommend charges as prior specials have done, therein triggering impeachment, to remove and charge. He didn't...because the evidence was lacking

These attempts at getting DT for things that never occurred just seem kinda lame. The Dems will never convince the public this is somehow an impeachable offense and I think they know that by now, they're just trying to keep up a political show to make the president look bad. This witness made the Dems look awful and Mueller was not much better. They are wise not to ever hear from Barr.

Not really, Mueller told Barr when asked that question that the OLC opinion was not the sole reason he didn't indict, IOW, lack of evidence was a factor.

Nadler is fishing in a dead sea.

Right, you can't indict a sitting President....we've known that since the early 70s. You can however recommend charges in your report to Congress...as what happened since the 70s. Of course that would require evidence to support such recommnedation...which of course is lacking here.

    Geez...it's round and round

lewandowsky got his marching orders from the REPUBLICAN CRIMINAL in the White House and clammed up like a good little republican sock puppet, eh.

Didn't see the republican POS lewandowsky in action yesterday, but sounds like that Dem lawyer Berke really made him look like a lying, pathetic republican chimp.

Time to "drain the (republican) swamp" for real next year, guys... :flagus: :democrat:

POPCORN: Corey Lewandowski Slapped Around Democrats During Their Trump Impeachment Circus.

“Lewandowski was yanked before the House Judiciary Committee via subpoena and gave the Left a run for its money. He slapped down the nonsense hurled at him regarding the Trump-Russia myth. He wasn’t going to play by their rules because he doesn’t need to accept those parameters. This is a witch hunt. It’s political theater. So, have fun—and he did.”

That might be a winner in your set but after yesterday's hearing the arrow should point to the idiot who subpoenaed Lewandowski to testify before the Tinfoil Tribunal. That was the funniest thing I've seen since the Mueller debacle blew up in Nadler's face.

This is nothing more than the Democrats throwing a national fit. It's hilarious. They have nothing.

Democrats acting like they are angry here proves that this has nothing to do with the Mueller report.

They asked him to come in and discuss the Mueller report, but asked him every random question under the sun and some of them didn't even ask questions, just personal attacks like calling him a hitman.

This was another example of Democrats looking petty and you know Nancy is beside herself with frustration, what do you do when the radicals take over?

Meanwhile they are angry when their victim refuses to go outside of what the testimony was. That's right, they had to lie and invent stories, literally hoping he would take some random shot back at them.

It was pretty funny actually, I think they are starting to see the writing on the wall for 2020

Oh, I do periodically.. rampant unchecked ******bagism is highly frustrating, but I think the blip is heading towards completion...

My current anger is why the D's feel they need hearings to impeach.. they have everything they need for 3 solid articles at this time..

Also, I'm angry at this pinhead challenging Schiff over the whistleblower stuff..

Republicans.. making people angry since formation!

Nadler's House committee holds a faux hearing in search of a false crime - column @thehill @TheHillOpinion -

Fat Jerry's House committee holds a faux hearing in search of a false crime.

An exercise in legal obfuscation about obstruction.

The House does not need a criminal obstruction offense in order to impeach the president. But Democrats are pretending they have an actual crime, just as they are pretending to engage in an actual impeachment inquiry. Admitting the absence of a crime would demonstrate that Fat Jerry's hearings are nakedly political.

Dirty Bob Mueller, by order of then-Deputy Attorney Rat-Faced Rosenstein, inherited the investigation described in March 2017 by the FBI’s then-director, Lying James Comey, as a counterintelligence investigation of Russia’s election meddling, which would include examination of any coordination between the Trump campaign and the Kremlin.

A counterintelligence investigation is not a criminal investigation. This is a critical distinction.

Federal obstruction law relates to corrupt interference with the due administration of law in an official proceeding. The crime is called obstruction of justice for a reason. Under federal law, an FBI investigation is not a proceeding that can be obstructed. It is neither a judicial process nor a proceeding of the type that the obstruction laws reach.

Fat Jerry and his clowns keep saying Trump obstructed the investigation. He did not, but even if he had, a counterintelligence investigation is not a proceeding that can be obstructed.

Donald Trump (as candidate, president-elect, and president), the FBI director told him, on multiple occasions, that he was not under investigation.

On the matter of Russia’s interference in the 2016 campaign, the FBI and, later, Dirty Bob Mueller, were not conducting a criminal investigation, and Trump was told he was not a criminal suspect. The FBI and, later, Dirty Bob Mueller, were conducting a counterintelligence investigation. Counterintelligence is not a proceeding for purposes of the obstruction laws. Unlike a criminal investigation, counterintelligence does not even contemplate an eventual proceeding; its aim is to gather information about the activities and intentions of foreign powers in order to protect the nation, not to build courtroom prosecutions.

Counterintelligence is unrelated to judicial proceedings. It has nothing to do with the rule of law. It is conducted solely to support the president’s constitutional duty to protect the United States from foreign threats. Consequently, it is completely within the president’s discretion. It is the president, elected by the people whose lives are at stake, who gets to decide what intelligence the country needs — it is not the FBI’s call, much less a determination to be made by a prosecutor dubiously appointed to run a counterintelligence investigation. The special counsel regulations do not authorize the appointment of a special counsel for counterintelligence purposes. And the Justice Department norm is that counterintelligence cases are not assigned to prosecutors because, to repeat, the objective is not to build a legal case.

A president cannot obstruct justice by shutting down a counterintelligence investigation, or by threatening to shut it down, or by redirecting counterintelligence resources to focus on some threats rather than others. We elect a president to make such judgments, which do involve judicial proceedings that can be obstructed.

The went on CNN and had this exchange

Host: "The report pointed out 10 instances of Obstruction"
Lewandowski: "that not what the report said"
Host: "Thats exactly what it said!" - Then puts up a graphic of all of those instances fromt he report
Lewandowski: "that not what the report said"
Host: "Mr Lewandowski have you read the report?"
    Lewendoski: "No" !
Host: "then how do you know what it said"
