Are you actually trying to claim that trump is honest, moral and decent??? LMAO...That dog won’t hunt anymore, son. In fact, it’s dead and buried. We all know what sort of person trump is every time he opens his mouth.
I agree with the first part (about being "coarse and vulgar)." I even agree with the part about being "given to loud outbursts of foul language." And to the part about lacking self-control. But the "intelligence" part is a bit dicier. For one thing, there are different metrics for "intelligence"--IQ being only one of them. (Besides which, I am unsure just what sort of IQ he has.) As a businessman, he seems extremely intelligent. I am just not sure that this automatically translates into those qualities that are highly desirable in a president.
Shamers still tryna get Trump to play their game. He got elected by being unshameable. That game is done.
Because the public likes nice guys- presidents have follwed the advice JFK's father Joe gave him- "Who you are doesn't matter in politics. It's who the public thinks you are that matters". Nice guys wouldn't stand a chance in the top tier of politics- you have to be a bulldog. Doesn't mean you can't also be loyal and dedicated, but that you had better have a big stick and the brass to use it. Trump was not an inbred politician- he is who he is. In private, most all presidents have been crude and tough. And- until recently, the press protected the office of the presidency by keeping that off the news. Trump is transparent and real- while Obama was a smooth talking snake oil salesman. Hillary was far worse. The difference is that most people prefer a comfortable lie to an uncomfortable truth.
"Trump is transparent and real- while Obama was a smooth talking snake oil salesman. Hillary was far worse. The difference is that most people prefer a comfortable lie to an uncomfortable truth." True, very true.
Words like "psycho old battle-ax" only excite people of low standing. Trump would approve, but Trump is president of the United States and we citizens deserve much better than that. Trump appeals to those who admire coarse language and ill advised chest thumping. Great nations don't act in that manner. Great leaders don't act in that manner.
It would be a degenerate like me. I love how you thought insulting me would swing my opinion your way.
You can imagine the this is just a cup cake leftie sort of thing But both my parents voted republican all of their lives.... they contributed to gop candidates the way trump behaves and speaks is not how I was raised If I acted that way, my parents would have been very disappointed in me also, despite some very bad behavior by occupying red coat troops George Washington insisted that British prisoners of war should be treated respectfully The USA was a leader in pushing for the Geneva conventions
I think you are incorrect Certainly his behavior is a sign of lack of self control And I would argue that in any important situation For ceo, for generals, or any leader Self mastery is critical to success, and a marker of having the intelligence to figure that out
She is psycho and an old battleaxe. I never seek approval for my opinions. The Clintons are the biggest criminals in US history and respect they certainly do not deserve and will not get it from me. Such vile people think nothing of killing or being behind the deaths of others. So I have not one scintilla of respect. I would be happy if Bill and Hillary fell into a vat of cold vomit and drowned.
Trump often uses inappropriate language. It is a frequent occurrence for him. Are those on the radio speaking generally or only about how he spoke about the terrorist leader?
I'm thinking they would be ashamed of his conduct before and after winning the presidency, though. Provided they weren't as mentally ill as their son.
No. I'm not any kind ist. It is a bunch of ists, in fact, who look at Trump and think the nasty things he says and does are somehow good.
You fool yourself, or you troll. Disdain for the worst US president in living memory is something Democrats, independents and many Republicans and other conservatives have in common today. He unifies us all against him. You then choose to group us all together under one derogatory label or another and assume we're all the same for expressing such views in common.
Claptrap opinion masquerading as "facts". ^ When someone continually defends and takes liberal positions, they are not a Conservative, even if they make such an absurd claim. Much like your bolded statement, above.
Trump has no control over his impulses. He is ignorant of United States history. He is ignorant of world history. He is ignorant of the Constitution and the law. He has no sense of leadership. He (and his base) eschew international diplomacy in a post Cold War world. He is amoral. He is a compulsive liar and con man. HIs only real ability is to stir up a base that represents, at most 35% of America. Given all these proven behaviors, it is natural Trump and his base would see little value in words. Paradoxically, it is a half dozen words, strung together, that is the core of the impeachment swirling around him.
