1) After the hearing, Pelosi wasn't going to go to a Full Floor Vote (and may possibly consider a Censure Resolution).

Or

2) She wouldn't impeach and leave it up to the voters in 2020.

McConnell cannot declare something that he DOES NOT HAVE "null and void". He has ZERO authority over the House. He is subservient to Nancy in the succession pecking order.

 

Your BLOTUS committed CRIME that he will be held accountable for by a Senate willing to hold an HONEST and FAIR trial whenever that comes to pass or he LOSES in 2020 first.

McConnell has no less authority to unilaterally make such a decision than Pelosi does to withhold the administrative notification of an impeachment to the Senate either indefinitely or with conditions.
