In the history of this planet, the academics tell us that global tempreatures were both higher and lower than now. Suddenly, those with a political agenda are telling us that we are creating a climactic catastrophe and must give all of our money to China and India, then revert to a stone-age lifestyle in order to avoid this disaster.

No, it's called REALITY. You can post all the crap you want from climate change nutters but history is a bitch. We didn't have people and SUV's 50 million years ago.

Having knowledge of engineering geology, I just laugh my ass off at all this crap. In the 1970's all the 'scientists' said we were entering a new ice age. When that didn't happen, it was global warming and the ice caps melting. When that didn't happen, it got changed into 'climate change'. Some people still call it 'weather'.

I'm still waiting on the seas to rise several feet, several cat 5 hurricanes every year, and tornados out the ass. They were promised, after all, by the climate nutter scientists.

 

I'll ask you what I ask everyone. Do you think that nearly every climate scientist on the planet doesn't know that there is natural variability in climate?

Here's another thing to mull around in your giant conspiracy theory. In over 40 years of knowing that we are causing global warming, this grand conspiracy of yours has generated almost no change in actual policy. So, if you wanted to create a conspiracy, could you do any worse? Why not do what every government ACTUALLY does when it wants to grab power which is fear monger about immigrants and foreigners. That works 100% of the time, and every government that has made a power grab uses it for that reason. Why go for something so esoteric?
