We can't do anything about those types by definition.
We can do something about greenhouse gases though.

Such are the words of those that can’t back up their claims. If you’ve already posted a source, feel free to give me a post number. I’ll go get it.

    Ooooh! Love this!,,

Keeps demanding we provide evidence of some obscure point, which when provided is not read and then tells us to verify your claims for you!

Or do I have you wrong?

An old Hercules transport with a BIG water tank might help it is the only thing I can think of that would lift that much weight

Are you actually under the impression that ALL that climate change is, is not just global warming, but ANTHROPOGENIC global warming? Say it isn't so!

What the hell? Aren't you the one asking @drluggit to dig up resources by asking him to provide an evaluation of that 1850 fire?

    Look earlier in the thread

There was an insistence we provide “proof” we did, he ignored it and now wantS us to verify his claim

Netiquette rules are that if you make a claim then you verify that claim

Are you actually under the impression that the science outlined in the IPCC reports is wrong?

    It isn’t so.
I’m asking you to specify what forms of climate change you’re referring to. Just looking to clarify what you’re referring to so we can have a discussion about the same thing. I’m no mind reader.

Yes I am. I obliged his requests. It’s only find it fair that he do the same.

Tell that to the relatives of the people who died in the fires they deliberately set.

You mean the ones charged with littering a lit cigarette because many of the 183 charged involved exactly that

I did give you a chance... But, because you can't do the work yourself...

    http://joannenova.com.au/2013/10/he...2-was-ideal-black-thursday-stories-from-1851/

Now, mind you that this was 1851 and according to the settled science, the climate was "optimal". So how on earth did this catastrophe occur? Temps in the high 40s and 50s (C) 12 million acres burned.... It seems unlikely that this was the first time, given the reaction of the aboriginals...

But sure, you think this happens now because it's climate change. Gosh. The climate hadn't "changed" yet, because this predates the timeline the IPCC currently use to measure this phenomenon. But it happened, Just like in the US, the total acres burned in the 1930s was so much higher than it is today, (fact, number of fires, total acres burned in the US is 80% lower than the 30s...) but sure, you'll challenge this one. Don't say I didn't give you a chance...

Where the soot goes, like say apparently New Zealand, snow less reflective, melts, wetter can come from dryer. Like say if there is more melt, you get maybe floods, and if any flood increases the surface area of water exposed to the sun, like a lake exposes more than a river, where that moisture goes may get more snow (precipitation) far away.

What happens on one continent, or region, can affect another, on and on; and things do not always stay the same.

Egypt of Cleopatra in a perfect system would have just had a regular flood of the Nile, not changed by another continent, but it doesn't work that way.

I could list all the things I do to reduce my carbon footprint like living off-grid totally dependant on solar and wind power but if nothing but killing myself would be acceptable to you I don't think I'll bother.

Sweet, and thanks for your efforts. Of course playing on the internet does have it's own footprint as well. Just sayin.

When I meet folks who live "off the grid" I usually find that their definition isn't exactly what mine might be, but sure.
