But will still vote for him, not because they are racist but because the alternative is much, much worse.

You disqualified yourself by using the WaPo as your source.

They are the ones who eulogized,

Abū Bakr al-Baghdadi as an ‘Austere Religious Scholar’

    and

Qasem Soleimani “American attack at Iraq airport kills revered Iranian military leader”

If 83% of blacks think Trump is a racist, that is GREAT news for Trump...

He only got 8% of the black vote in 2016.

Let's hope the other 17% of blacks think Trump is a criminal... that'll get us to 100%

a wapo poll and an axios article, gotta be a bit biased but I don't doubt the numbers, its been repeated maybe half a million times in the media, eventually it gets embedded.

I assume if you just replaced the name Trump with "white people" you'd still get some shockingly high numbers.

side note: there is zero doubt that there are white racists, but in the same respect there is zero doubt there are black racists, and zero doubt there are asian's we can throw under the bus as well.

The racists/bigots that i've met are just general pricks anyway but as far as "racism" it was 99.9% derogatory comments which really amounts to nothing more than a bad attitude/person but no real life actions. Many times to be honest those comments ("they need to stop killing each other") were probably mostly correct as far as stereotypes and general broad brushing, but inappropriate in this day and age because being critical of minorities is frowned upon even when using facts.

I've mentioned this before but far and away the most racist person I've ever met was a friend of mines ex-wife, she was from Jamaica, had jet black skin and viciously dropped the N word ALL the time (in a derogatory way, not the official "term of endearment fashion" attributed to rappers) There is no doubt she would discriminate towards black Americans in any way possible, and do so dramatically worse than any white people I've ever met. (duly noted: there are no skin heads in my circle of friends)

My circle of friends covers all races, sexes, sexual preferences and we're all pretty laid back, we can joke about our differences between races or preferences w/o any problems. I have a good friend who still slips up and "axes" me a question now and than and I can say "I don't got an axe but I gots a chainsaw" and we laugh. He's allowed to laugh at my dancing, i'm terrible, or the fact that I can't shoot a free throw but he can't hit golf ball. Its not a big deal to be honest, were all adults.

"Trump stereotyped a black reporter at a press conference in February 2017. When April Ryan asked him if he plans to meet and work with the Congressional Black Caucus, he repeatedly asked her to set up the meeting — even as she insisted that she’s “just a reporter.”"

Just one of the bogus claims of racism.

That is just poor reading comprehension. No poll attempts to ask every person in a given population.

Hillary was projected to win the popular vote by an average of 3.2%. She won the popular vote by a final of 2.1%.

In 2018, the House Democrats were projected to win by a combined total of the votes by 8.7%. They won by a combined total of the votes by 8.4%.

IMO based on 71 years on the planet there is a very small percentage of US citizens who are racists. I can really only remember 3 and those people I met in the 1960's.

I'm guessing this is the 83% that vote Democrat 100% of the time.

I can see how if you add all of these episodes up, you can certainly at least make the case that he doesn't like African-Americans very much or hold them in high regard.

    But what about this

    1988
In a commencement speech at Lehigh University, Trump spent much of his speech accusing countries like Japan of “stripping the United States of economic dignity.” This matches much of his current rhetoric on China. is racist?

It's a FACT. We were(and still are) losing trade, and those losses do have a substantial impact on our way of life. I do recognize it will continue beyond the Trump Administration.
