I couldn't believe reading it, and I sure as hell don't want to hear her say it, because it's absurd. You're never disbarred for making a legal argument, no matter how flimsy. Otherwise, by her non-lawful interpretation every defense lawyer should be disbarred for arguing the insanity defense on the behalf of every mass murderer there ever was.

(The judicial issue with that being, of course they're insane. They murdered people. But the judicial definition of insanity is an incapacity to be able to make right and wrong judgments. That's why there's a technical discrepancy.)

But it's clear that the House Speaker is losing herself. Her claims that her branch was equal to the executive(it's not. It shares a role in government, but it's an inferior role of government. Something every House understood until this one.) All the way to "bipartisan and overwhelming" to whelp, let's impeach him before we were to receive the transcript.

She's proving herself incapable of fulfilling the responsibilities of House Speaker in her deranged quest for power, and equally the destructive activity of the House.

Andrew Johnson was impeached because his policies were opposed. He put forth all his effort in office trying to undo what Lincoln has accomplished, and trying to scuttle Reconstruction completely.

But he was acquitted by a single vote, and that senator voted to acquit on the basis that policy is not impeachable. That one senator did not agree with the policies of Johnson at all.
