Attorney General William Barr says Trump’s tweets ‘make it impossible for me to do my job’
    https://www.cnbc.com/2020/02/13/ag-...s-make-it-impossible-for-me-to-do-my-job.html

"Attorney General William Barr said Thursday that President Donald Trump should stop tweeting about the Department of Justice, complaining that the president’s comments “make it impossible for me to do my job.”

Barr’s unusual critique of his boss came in an ABC News interview.

The remarks followed days of sharp criticism of Barr, Trump and the DOJ by congressional Democrats over the department’s decision to reverse a harsh sentencing recommendation for Trump’s friend, Republican political consultant Roger Stone."

Uh oh. That must be a mis-quote. A gaff. A lapse in judgement. Et tu Billy? Don't you understand what this means? You've jeopardized your power. You had the audacity to tell el Presidente to ****. Prepare to defend yourself.

Not just Stone's sentence Manafort got a VERY LIGHT sentence for the crimes he committed including massive tax evasion and also the calling off of sentencing Michael Flynn. All three very suspect to sentence tampering.

That is one of the fakest most rehearsed theatrics this administration has come up with. They need a cover story to try to make people believe that they didn't coordinate on Stone's case. But it's ridiculous. Why would the Attorney General intervene in an a case that was already adjudicated if not because the President* ordered it?

If one thing has been made clear it's that favors to Trump (like Stone obstructing the Mueller investigation to protect Trump) will be reciprocated................as long as Donald doesn't pay a price. And........he never does.

The subtext of what Barr is saying is, "pointing out my corruption makes it harder to be corrupt."

Perhaps this is a case of Billy realizing his reputation, already in tatters, is going to be irrevocably damaged if he sits on his fat hands and let's this go by without a fuss.

It’s theatre. Watch what he does. His words are worthless. He’s the President’s butt buddy. Sorry. That is an image that is hard to shake.

Exactly. He's saying that Trump is exposing what he would prefer be done in the dark

Hell Trump's extorting NY State now to force NY to drop investigations

Barr has interjected himself in the Southern District investigation of the payoff scandal that sent Cohen to jail as well as the investigation of Rudy the Ghoul

This is just another truckload of steaming BS dumped on Trump supporters to make Billy the Bagman look "clean." 'Stop the tweets, it makes protecting you harder.'

39 prosecutors blast Attorney General Barr for ‘dangerous and failed’ approach to criminal justice
    https://www.washingtonpost.com/national-security/2020/02/13/attorney-general-barr-prosecutors/

Thirty-nine elected prosecutors in a joint statement condemned Attorney General William P. Barr for his recent rhetoric that attacked progressive policies, arguing that his “dangerous and failed” approach to criminal justice disproportionately punished poor people and racial minorities while diverting resources away from more serious crimes.

“Sadly, we are perceived as a threat by some who are wedded to the status quo or, even worse, failed policies of past decades,” the 39 state, county and city prosecutors wrote. “Critics such as Attorney General William P. Barr seek to bring us back to a time when crime was high, success was measured by how harsh the punishment was, and a fear-driven narrative prevailed.”

Poor Billy. Everybody hates him. It's what happens when you are incompetent and corrupt.

Are you promoting a conspiracy theory?

Because that's part of the job of an Attorney General.

Given that the only reason any of them were ever investigated in the first place was that they were connected to Trump. Note Flynn is withdrawing a plea entered only because his family was threatened. Stone was convicted, at least in part, by Democrat activists before an Obama appointed judge, basically of braggadocio, and having a loud mouth, and much of the evidence against Manafort was fraudulent.

We don't have sentence tampering we have over zealous politically motivated prosecutors. Being told to climb down off their high horse. And people like that resigning is good for the system. As 1100 assuming all or any of them ever were US Attorneys it's a good thing the verb is 'were'.

Then I'm sure you can show us other examples of an AG inserting himself in sentencing guidelines for a personal friend of the President

So a private citizen has a conversation with the AG and right wingers flip the F out.

Billy the Bagman inserts himself into actual prosecutions of Trump's buddies and he's "just doing his job" (even though that has never been done before)

    Oh....

How many friends of president have been sentenced in the past? Anyway, Clinton pardoned a friend. And how do you know that Barr is acting SPECIFICALLY because Stone is a friend of Trump's?

Well, when President Pissant, tweeting about Stone's sentencing recommendation, writes "cannot allow this miscarriage of justice" and the DoJ immediately acts to reduce the recommendation rational people come to rational conclusions. Especially.........you know.........after the things Barr has already done that show he is Don's sock puppet.

This is a horrible and very unfair situation. The real crimes were on the other side, as nothing happens to them. Cannot allow this miscarriage of justice!

The conspiracy is public. Barr intervenes so that Stone gets away easy, and Trump maligns all those who denounce it. And the attacks are outright lies. Barr states that it's "impossible" for him to do his job, and yet he doesn't resign. What part of that is a "theory"?

In how many cases has the AG intervened that are not pals of the President the day after the President publicly tweets for an intervention.

    WOW...39! That's nearly 40!

Face it, Barr will not be bullied by the left...Justice will be done. I like how the left is now suggesting they'll impeach Barr.....geez....you can't get the President with all the hoaxs, now you are trying to go after the guy exposing your hoaxes...you really can't make this up.

Sorry, tyranny will not last in the United States.

Sorry....Barr was already involved...the Mueller holdovers lied to him about the sentecing memo....it was made public, and obviously anyone with a sense of Justice, saw it was a silly recommendation, and Barr quickly reigned those rogue Mueller team hold overs in
