What Is So Great About Stacey Abrams?

She has never had the remotest bit of a political career outside of Georgia and couldn't even be elected governor there. She has nothing in her background or her accomplishments that would suggest any qualifications for the executive branch.

Yet supposedly she is on the short list of possible Vice Presidential choices for several of the contenders for the Democratic nomination.

Why?

 

Because she might be able to deliver Georgia to the Democrats. One needs to remember Kemp defeated her by a mere 55,000 votes or 1.4%. She was the minority leaders in our state legislature and was known to be able to work across the aisle with Republicans. She's well respected in Georgia unless you're a hard core Republican.

Having said that, I do agree that she lacks experience. Now if I were running as a Democrat, I'd consider her just because she might be able to deliver Georgia. I don't think Trump can win without winning Georgia. His victories in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin were mightily thin. I highly doubt he can perform a two for in all three and perhaps none. That alone would make me consider Abrams.

Actually come to think of it. Abrams has more experience in government than Trump did before he ran.

 

She's black and female, apparently some folk think that's enough.

 

She be Black. Same thing that made Obama with the thinnest resume ever for a presidential candidate. The Dems cry like hell when anyone else does racial profiling but they do it all the time.

 

She can fill a room.

 

Oh come on. She's not that fat.

 

It seems at least to me that Abrams losing the governors race in Georgia is one of the primary reasons that Democrats want to offer her the VP nomination now.


The idea being "well she was cheated (supposedly, questionably) out of becoming governor, so the least we can do is put her on our national ticket".


I hate that kind of entitlement mentality.

 

Lack of experience = less opportunity to be co-opted by the globalist elite. I don't know anything about this person, but she's already a point ahead in my book.

 

She's black. That's it. Her whole claim to fame. Everyone is racist that doesn't worship her because she's black.

 

All by herself, nobody else present.

 

This just tells me that none of the candidates are even open to picking anyone else on the stage. Bit early for VP talk, especially since they have no real front runner...

If establishment Dems are looking at her she either already is or they know beyond all doubt that she can be.

 

Right, because all the candidates are white. Blacks are welcome to leave the democrat concentration camp and run for republican positions anytime they want.

 

And.........all their candidates are white because they pick white candidates. I think you are missing something here you seem incapable of grasping.

 

Exactly! They never run for republican positions (well not never, but hardly ever) because they are brainwashed into believing they have no shot in that party. Basically what you are saying is false, just like the RUSSIA HOAX

Her resume doesn't include running even a lemonade stand. Trump ran international businesses. The US government is the largest organization in the world. Look what happened when we put an empty suit with a personality in that same executive position for 8 years.

 

Gotta admit she has one great trait adopted by so many democrats. Screeching and finger pointing, "They stole the election from me."

 

Abrams is black, female, fat, democrat, has a big mouth, lies like a rug, is delusional, and claims to be the governor of Georgia. She's a shoo-in for any national office.

 

That depends on one's political view point. I certainly would take Obama for a third term over Trump. Simply because I can't stand the man Trump, the individual. Although I probably supported more of Trump's policies than Obama's. With Trump's bullying persona, his name calling and temper tantrum throwing like a four year old who's parents failed to teach him any manners. His personality belongs more as a wrestler in the WWE than in the Oval Office.

Sometimes personal likes and dislikes over ride policy.

that was my thought process in 16' when I went 3rd party, because I disliked both candidates, but doing that basically meant I was letting the other voters decide for me, I was ok with that because the chance that 1 vote would make a difference was nil and It helped me sleep at night. Its unlikely I'll do that again this year.

I took some smack for Johnson but I'm ok with my decision, funny that a friend yesterday took a nice little jab at me for voting for a guy that didn't know where Alepo was (remember that?)

Of course I asked who his favorite 20' candidate was and he said it was Amy, so I couldn't resist asking... Is that more important than who the president of Mexico is? Because Amy doesn't know the answer (and neither did Steyer) Always fun to throw a jab right back in their face.

Back on track, as far as Stacy Abrams goes, I have no idea what people see in her, I've heard her speak, it didn't sway me.

From what I can see her two best qualities are being a minority and female. Seems to me there are better options than Stacy but if a potus candidate picks a vp based on demographics that's their problem not mine.
