I understand that the vaccines are for protection from the usual range of flu, pneumonia, etc, so that at risk people will not be doubly at risk.

That virus does not discriminate...between illegals and legals. But....I do agree. If it gets into South America that makes the risk greater in the USA.

 

Just when you thought people rooting for a bad economy was bottom of the barrel, some people start rooting for a plague.

 

Did you see the steps that China took to contain the virus? Whole cities quarantined. Businesses and transport shut down.

If other countries want to contain the virus the way that China did, it stands to reason that they should take the same steps that China did. Be prepared for that to happen.

 

No one is "rooting for" a plague.

What people hope is that Trump does more than just wish this away. That he actually listens to his scientists and advisors for once, and doesn't think he is the smartest person in the room.

And that if he doesn't, and things all go to ****, that people recognise it and punish him for his incompetence in November.

Why not blame the globalists and the open border crowd? If there is a pandemic that does kill millions, the correct target is the global village crowd. The politics of the West will shift drastically if the elite or their children end up getting sick and dying from this.
