A responsibility of leadership is to avoid panic because that is what causes hoarding and shortages and price gouging. Trump is trying to do that. Democrats, in their efforts to damage Trump are opposing everything he says even if they have to lie a little about it. They keep their fingers crossed so it's ok.

 

The thing to do is to slow its spread until a vaccination is developed. I think that is being done. In the meantime everyone should practice the same standards as always. Wash our hands, cover our faces when sneezing or coughing, avoid the obviously ill, and so on. Same old, same old. Life must go on.

One, there's not a vaccine yet. And two, they have no idea what to expect as far as spreading.

Remember when nobody batted an eye when obama told us the ebola breakout was under control? Nobody criticized him, we all let him work with Congress and do his thing.

What is correct is that I DID say that Trump said the virus would go away with warmer weather. That he said this is really not in question.

As a scientist, I'd say that it is really unknown whether COVID19 is a seasonal virus or not. It could, or it could not be. Trump is really just making stuff up by saying it (i.e. wishful thinking). The verdict on this, and many other things about this virus, may be out only after the outbreak is long over.

 

Riiiight. And I'm sure constructing 1000+ patient hospitals over a weekend was just being better safe than sorry too. You guys are too much.
