9,9 percent UE in Nov of 2010. Accept the reality, that's what four years of Dem Congressional policies, combined with two years of a Dem Oval Office gave America

What was it you lost exactly, all the gains that Trump gave you? Better sell now there is no way it will ever come back, right?

    A. Right now I'd take it in a heartbeat and so would any other sane person.

    B. I'd have taken it on January 21 2017. It was actually fine

Did you purposely state 2008 hoping that no one would notice but just look at the graph and accept your 2008 date?

And again sloughing it all off on Obama starting in 2009. The Democrats and the Democrat economy started January 2007 and after whiche which we a HUGE crash in the stockmarket, the housing market and unemployment shot from 4.5% to 10%, the deficit from a paltry $161B to $1,400B the longest and deepest recession in modern history and the worst recovery in modern history. It doesn't just turn on who's President. And BTW Obama was a full voting member of that Democrat Congress voting for and supporting those policies.

And in the face of a possible recession why would you want to go back to those policies instead of the Republican policies in 2000 and the 2001 recession?

Dems gained control of ONE House of Congress in 2007 and that makes them responsible for a Recession that began before they took their seats?

    Yea...no partisan BS there huh?

No they took back BOTH houses of Congress and lame ducked Bush. I didn't say responsible FOR the recession but they were responsible FOR the government reaction to it and it's policies to help mitigate the depth and length and get us into a full recovery and they total failed. And the recession didn't start until a year AFTER they took control of the Congress.

And no, no partisan BS just the facts, refute them if you think you can.

So why would you prefer we put them back in charge in the face of a new recession?

You're right. They won a one seat majority in the Senate...back when the filibuster was still in effect and it took 60 votes to pass anything...and THEN it had to have the President sign it.

So what legislation did they pass that slowed the reaction to the REPUBLICAN debacle they were handed (yes the Recession began in December of the previous year.

    & yes...pure partisan BS

    Your "facts" are anything but

What have I posted that was not factual? YOU were the one that made a fallacious statement which I pointed out so don't make bogus claims what I have posted is not factual. The results speak for themselves. They were handed a strong economy with a 4.5% unemployment rate and a paltry $161B deficit. We see the results of the Democrat policies and we see the results of the Republican policies now if you think we should use those Democrat policies now please explain why.

They were handed a RECESSION that began in the December of the year before they took their seats. So much for your "facts"

We're seeing the failure of Republican policies again and again.

As if 2008 and the Great Recession wasn't enough. As if the debacle in Iraq wasn't enough...we get the incompetence and dishonesty of THIS disaster

Can you just imagine this happening during a Clinton administration? We'd be in much worse conditions personally and as a nation.

I can't stand Clinton as much as the next person and glad she lost the election....that being said...what ACTUAL evidence do you have to support your claim?

The Trump administration is working to send money directly to Americans in a bid to curb the economic fallout of the coronavirus crisis.
Will you be ok with this?
