Obam/Biden = no panic during the H1N1 pandemic. No economic crash.

Trump/Pence = panic and economic crash during the Covid-19 pandemic.

That's fact their policies which were supposed to mitigate the slowdown/recession failed and it was the worst recovery history. And the deficits and debt did explode, going from the last Republican 2007 of just $161B to $1,400B in two years and staying over $1,000B for the nest three and only started receding as the Republicans took back the House and then the Senate and forced sequester and austerity.

Why would anyone want to go back to those Democrats policies?

As you know, the deficits and debt exploded due to the Republican caused recession. Thankfully, Obama and the Dems turned that around, cut UE in half, tripled the stock market and had the longest period of economic growth post ww2.

 

The economy was in the exact same unchanging trend line from 2010 until Jan 2020. Nothing changed under trump, except we are now headed to another massive recession. And no, I’m not blaming trump do this recession.

 

No , but it's going to happen, take it up with China. If nothing else good comes from this, essential manufacturing will return to the U.S. providing millions of blue collar jobs.

The Democrats took the Congress a year before the recession began, the ball was in their lap to pass legislation to help mitigate the slowdown and lesson the depth and length of the recession and then, with a Democrat in the WH get us into a full recovery, they failed at both. The Obama stimulus which HE said would limit unemployment to just 8% was a total failure as unemployment soared to 10% and stayed over 8% for the next 3. It was as the Republicans took back the Congress starting in 2012 House and then 2014 the Senate and then 2016 the White House that recovered the economy and we had one of if not the best economies ever.

Presidents aren't kings everything doesn't hinge on the President the House and the Senate play their equal roles. Whichever party controls 2 of the three has majority power.
