I've posted several videos straight from youtube that took me like 5 seconds to find.

I doubt most police have been polled.

If only BLM cared as much when black people murder thousands of black people every year.

 

Wow you want to use the OJ trial, hell black men have been getting screwed by the Justice System since this country was founded.

This isn't about how many black folks murder each other, start a thread on it. We are talking about a man murdered by police. Again have you ever been pinned down in this manner?

The "protests" have nothing to do with what happened in Minnesota. These are anarchists and opportunists who are burning and looting.

 

Proving that that officer intended to kill him would be nearly impossible without other evidence besides the video.

Did he mean to hurt him? Probably. Humiliate him? Probably.

But youd be hard pressed to prove that the officer made up his mind to kill that man in the middle of the street.

 

No more than Alex Fields Jr or Dylann Roof were "members" of any organization. All of them, including Micah Xavier Johnson were reflections on the movements they supported. You can't excuse Johnson if you want to condemn Fields or Roof. None of the "movements" have official membership roles, which is why I call them "movements" and not "organizations", but they do have supporters. and Micah Xavier Johnson, the murderer, was unquestionably a supporter of the Black Lives Matter movement.

 

Just agreeing with you, but flipping the script a little for purposes of discussion. Can we agree that people without connections and money for expensive lawyers have been getting screwed by the Justice System since this country was founded. A start would be not electing lawyers for any political position.

Cuff someone behind their back, lay them prone on the their stomach, put weight on them and they will have trouble breathing, put them under stress and even more so. The knee was also closing the arteries causing more distress. But as the post above notes, while standing by the police car he said he was having trouble breathing. That is a clear sign of a cardiac incident before he was on the ground. ME says it wasn't from strangulation. That could shift things quite a bit.

Kind of reminds me of "The first thing we do, let's kill all the lawyers" (a famous line from Shakespeare, not an actual suggestion, lest I run afoul of the code of conduct).

ETA: and I agree that being poor sucks, not just when it comes time to purchase legal representation, but for a whole host of other reasons as well. Don't be poor kids, it sucks.

He was already having a cardiac event before he went down. And if he died because of the cardiac event that complicates things.

On a related note and for those who say if you comply with the police you won't have a problem. Here is an example of police asking a Federal court to rule that those complying with police during an arrest do not have a clearly established right to be free from police brutality.

He was going into cardiac arrest or arrhythmia before he went down. It wasn't a lack or oxygen it was that his heart was not pumping properly so his blood could get oxygenated. That is what killed him.

That's an interesting piece of new evidence.
