I did mechanical, I've done the punch cards. Same thing with about the last 20 showing and ID making it even better. And ID makes that even harder. Flooding the land with ballots that aren't confirmed with and ID is going to make that a lot worse. Having people showing up with hundreds of ballots that were mailed out and submitting them is going to make that worse. Show up, show your ID, get your ONE ballot, fill it out, run it through the tabulation machine and watch it give you the properly recorded light, I think we are getting a small receipt added to ours soon. THAT'S a secure election. We voted for over 200 years without mass mail out unsecured voting.

Which makes it even more important we don't make it any easier to commit that fraud, don't give me the ole if we can't stop all fraud then we don't try hard to stop any fraud canard.

An interesting article this morning starting off noting how unwise it is to have mass voting outside the supervision and iverview of election officials but also how they are subject to being stolen, altered or forced. And then the fact that through the mail misdirected it not delivered. Then the problem of vote harvesting and allowing partisan political hacks control and get their hands on mass numbers of ballots dramatically increasing the risk of fraud and illegal "voter assistance " It goes on...

Why All-Mail Elections Are Too Risky and Unwarranted

"In 1998, after a series of cases in Florida involving absentee ballot fraud, the Department of Law Enforcement issued a report on persistent fraud in state elections, calling absentee ballots the “tools of choice” of “those who are engaging in election fraud.”

That included the 1997 mayoral race in Miami, which was overturned because of what a county grand jury in 2012 called “widespread absentee ballot fraud.”

If you think that is ancient history, take a look at more recent cases documented in The Heritage Foundation Election Fraud Database, which contains a sampling of almost 1,300 proven cases of fraud from around the country.

That includes the mayor of Gordon, Alabama, who was removed from office last year after being convicted of absentee ballot fraud in an election he won by only 16 votes.

Another recent case: the 2018 congressional race in North Carolina. It was overturned because of illegal vote harvesting by a political consultant who was collecting absentee ballots from voters, as well as ballots that were changed, altered, or—in some cases—not even delivered to election officials.

Still doubt the vulnerabilities of the absentee balloting process and the dangers it poses to secure elections? Then take a look at one Democratic mayoral primary in East Chicago, Indiana. It was overturned by the Indiana Supreme Court in 2004 due to “pervasive” and “voluminous, widespread” fraud involving absentee ballots.

That included preying on first-time voters, those “less informed or lacking in knowledge of the voting process, the infirm, the poor, and those with limited skills in the English language.”

Ballots were filled out by campaign workers instead of voters; people were pressured to vote a particular way or were paid for their votes; and individuals who did not even live in the city or were registered at vacant lots voted illegally (but easily) using absentee ballots..."
If that is not enough more here

It's a fact. Try looking into it. If I give you the facts you will just argue. If you seek the facts, you'll have the facts.

See? I was right. You just want to argue. That's apparently your source of joy in life.

How can anyone argue when there is nothing to argue. You made a claim but you wont back it because you cant. Random and unproven claims are funny that way.

I live in Michigan, not far from Ontario. The country is real. It's Justin Trudeau who's the surreal. He's prob'ly gonna ban slingshots as assault weapons, next.

He’ll do no such thing. He’s too busy answering fan mail from Melania. She’s got the hots for him...real bad.

Like getting caught breaking a law and then being convicted of that in a proper trial had NOTHING to do with being in the joint. Regardless of epidermal melanin content, continent of ancestry, belief in a superior entity or not, one immutable truth is this. No system of law is perfect and only diligent honest review of cold cases will bring undetected criminals to justice---just as much as it will free those wrongly incarcerated.

Did all Trump supporters actually enter spelling bees or do they just like showing off their illiteracy ? You’re zero for one.
You must be turning down the volume whenever Trump speaks. There is nothing genuine about him. Trump university, a fake charity....the list goes on for this fraud.

I will paraphrase my own remark. Unlike the wetbacks the Democrats want to bring in ahead of this election, so Californicate can illegally register them for purposes of those Electoral College votes...our First Lady is here legally. Small wonder liberals dislike her for also being far prettier than clothes-horse Jackie, who was J.C. Penney without that wardrobe thrown at her. Say there: how many languages did Jackie speak? Was she a bonafide fashion model? Asking for a friend.

I went to a hot air balloon festival and have a super photo of these guys with a huge flamethrower pumping hot air into their ride. Ya know? If I hopped the fence and asked them a question like where'd you get that --- they'd actually have an answer. Where's your proof, balloonist?
