Considering this is the same man that said he wasn't going to serve a second term: https://www.politico.com/news/2019/12/11/biden-single-term-082129 it has become increasingly clear that the DNC is mocking this election process.

Remember, Mitch McConnell once said it was his goal to make Obama a one-term President(that's what opposing parties do, it's what Dems want to do to Trump.) but if this 'goal' is already achieved in the form of Joe Biden, what reason do Republicans have to pass democratic legislation?

Historically, the power of a second term is to be able to get things done that the first can't, and also you want to be able to pass legislation to say you worked with the other party. But Biden is already a lame duck, he's not running in 2024.

So for Republicans, passing a far-left legislation(to the extent they could still block it) is simply out of the question. Biden has no leverage for getting anything he wants done, because he's a lame duck before he started.

Starting from Obama onward, it became apparent to me that our Presidents were political occupiers of the office, not really in charge but this is borderline insulting, it should be insulting to even a Liberal voter. It should especially be insulting to the Bernie bots.

If Biden had a strong presence(and they themselves in this article say they had to make ground on the internet), wouldn't that bode better for his campaign? And ultimately, his Presidency? Add to that his promise on a female VP pick(for the singular purpose of getting votes really, AKA John McCain's pick of Sarah Palin) and pretty much every complaint you have of Trump is going to be replicated with this "administration".

Biden has never committed to being a 1 term president... It's strongly likely and would be my preference to hear publicly before the election, but it's not been officially stated, so it's immaterial at this time.

I've been stating for weeks that Biden should stay as far away as possible from the shitshow Trump is running... there is no upside for Biden shouting into the human fart storm that is Donald J. Trump. Pick and choose his moments, like the Floyd memorials...

I think he will be a 1 termer because of his age. Looking at him now, there is no way he will be in a condition to put two words together.

It's insulting, in fact it troubled Hillary's campaign with women and if Biden literally does pick what amounts to nothing but a female suit it will be Biden melting down and Trump will capitalize on that.

Relative to Trump, she had won women. If she faced Rubio however(or insert other Republican) the backlash in the DNC might have actually resulted in a difficult race with women. Because not all women are "woke" or wanna be woke. They want to be courted politically just like a man would on their various issues, that someone is running with breasts and a vagina doesn't matter as much.

Rubio(or insert politician) also didn't have the crass behavior(save for that one...stupid exchange), so it would have been a traditional presidential campaign and an interesting debate, I think if the DNC had actually picked Yang or Sanders or anyone but Biden we would've gotten an interesting debate.

The reason the right is mocking a Biden debate is that it's a legitimate question if he shows.

Hillary didn't win women by much really. She got 54% of women. It wouldn't have been even close if minorities were able to think for themselves. I understood when 99% of black voters gave their vote to Obama but Hillary didn't really have anything to offer them but free stuff and they bit at 91% (98% for black women).

Dems voted for a woman. Republicans voted for anti-politicians.
