This is potentially scary. I know some truck drivers have been assaulted by rioters.. If there is a question about regular deliveries could there be another round of hoarding as with Covid-19:

The Democrat Party is on its deathbed, and deservedly so.

I think that this thread has gotten bare on substance.

Yeah the editorial is weird, but I agree with the majority of the truck drivers. The police cannot be undone. It would be best to remove their immunity legal privileges.

Deliveries to these places will not stop. There'll always be some truckers who will risk it. They'll be toting firearms and rdy to use them, and they'll be very expensive. But the goods will still flow.

...unless of course a city bans cops and guns. Might have a problem finding willing deliverers at any price, then.

I think we will see more and more of this and businesses moving out.

Are the officers in Minneapolis receiving some kind of immunity?

Wait until they realize it’ll be easier to get their meth if there are less cops

Yes, I was thinking about that when I read the topic title. The truck driver was pulled out of his cab and beaten to an inch of his life. Then he was lucky because some guy saw it on the news, recognized the area, and went to save him. Sorry for the vague details but this has been a while since that happened.

But, on an aside, did you know that the Truckers are also refusing to drive to certain areas because they can't find places to eat and go to the bathroom because the service areas are closed as non-essentials?

The life of a trucker is hard. Let's not make it more so.

I don’t blame the drivers. Liberal cities are dangerous already...turning the city over to leftwing terrrorist is just a death sentence to hard working Drivers

As evidenced by Biden leading Trump nationally, by double digits in some polls.

Good luck with that. Most companies will not allow it. Owner operators will not risk the damage to their trucks

I can't blame any truck driver who wouldn't go into a "Police free" zone.

It certainly didn’t result in the Democratic Party being on its deathbed, which is what I was responding to.

Everything has a price. As city folk get more and more desperate for goods, that price will eventually be met.

Though its more likely city folks will just demand to reestablish PDs before then...

Can Democrats even pretend to care for their fellow citizens. It doesn't appear like there's a good reason to trust the DNC politicians this November.

Running blockades and gun nests is profitable, if you make it in and back out unscathed. You can name your price.

What's so funny? Do you agree with me on something? CHAZ, and the rest are going to have to get creative.

I'm retired now, but I would sure tell the company to pound sand.
