    well actually Jim Crow came after the CSA. Part of the heritage of the DNC just like slavery...which means obviously racist and hateful are part of the heritage of the dnc

    No, it all came down to the Civil Rights act and the first time a GOP candidate for president carried several states in the South because of his opposition to the passing of the Civil Rights Act......First time evah...

    actually that election was four years later, Nixon carried some but Dem Wallace carried over half. Nixon wasn’t opppsed to the act in fact in 1957 was a big part of getting the Civil Rights act passed...he had pushed larger reforms but the House bill was watered down by dems in the senate

    That is true, but in the 1960's as Democrats more and more moved into the civil rights camp. The racist's had to find a new home. Fortunately the GOP was than happy to embrace them. At one time the northeast was the bedrock of the Republican party. Many of those northeastern Republicans became uncomfortable in the new southern racist GOP.That's where we find ourselves today.

    Slavery is a part of United States history where it existed even after the demise of the Confederacy. Jim Crow laws were unique to the United States and did not exist until long after the Confederacy. Get your history straight.

    This is what you'd like us to think. We know different. LBJ said "we'll have those n*(&)%'s voting Democrat for 200 years!" He has accomplished that for at least 50, though I doubt it will go on much further. LBJ and the Democrat Party knew just how to placate the black vote and keep them on the "plantation". ,,,the "government plantation".

    The transformation you would like us to believe never took place. The Democrats evolved in their tactics. They feely they still own a whole heap of Blacks. If they don't own them,well....they ain't black!!!

    I would tend to agree but would revise it another way. Clever whites figured out a way to keep blacks forever victims and reward them to never leave the "government plantation". They riot when they are told and they loot when they are told. I notice one thing.....they stay away from 2nd amendment zones and ALWAYS pillage their own "hoods". That way they stay safe!
