    nah the gop ended slavery...it’s the only issue it was formed on...and brought her voting rights to african americans which ended dem control. trust me there there racist dems in more places then th south as well...they are all over

    Northern politicians ended slavery and last time I checked it was a Democratic president that signed the CRA and VRA. It was the Dem party that elected America's FIRST black POTUS. Republicans just claim they would vote for someone black.

    the gop has voted for “someone black”- the first african-americans to high office were republican. Johnson flip flop and signed gop bills that kennedy supported. he was a racist. he then passed great society legislation to keep them in poverty and dependent
