Trump Tells Minnesota Governor to Go Jump In a Lake, Denies Request for ‘Disaster’ Relief After Riot

Some weeks ago, Gov. Tim Walz of Minnesota made a request for federal disaster relief after hundreds of millions of dollars in destruction occurred in Minneapolis. That damage came at the hands of rioting and looting in the aftermath of the death of George Floyd.

Those cities burned because Walz and the local leadership refused to stop the carnage, even as people were injured and killed in the chaos. The President had urged Minnesota to deploy troops early on, something that wouldn’t happen until later, after the damage was already done. Instead of accepting Trump’s offering of active duty troops, Walz refused while Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey trashed the President’s urging to get tough and stop the anarchy.

Yup, the good citizens are going to have to cough up the bucks to repair what their Governor and Major of Minneapolis allowed to happen.

 

It's time to split this country in half and leave Democrats to fester in their own failures.

 

The governmental order for police to stand down is equivalent to a governmental order to the rioter/looter/burners to go downtown and attack.

 

I absolutely love this!!! When you make your bed, you lay in it. Why should the rest of the country pay for the lack of spine of the MN governor and Minneapolis mayor? Hopefully when the citizens of MN start footing the bill, they may then be “woke” and vote in better leadership.

Putin is smiling at Democratic leadership who allowed their cities to burn. I'm sure he sees it as a weakness and is hoping Biden wins the election so more of this will continue on a larger scale. Americans are burning down their own country saving Putin from having to use his military to defeat the US.

You know... this is what happened in the 1960s. This would lead to future riots. Riots are a natural part of the political process. They’re like a natural disaster, and acknowledging them as such is the only way to prevent more of them.

 

There is no limit to how low Trump and his devotees will sink.

It's going to be so nice watching him lose the coming election or, quite possibly, resign in disgrace as he faces an election he knows he can't win. I just hope the Boogagloos and other radical right terrorists don't turn violent over it. I know Trump will claim that the election was rigged against him. He has already set the stage with his bogus claims about mail-in ballots.

 

Trump is playing a "Genius" game of 1-D Checkers to lock down MN in November.

 

It's already common knowledge(as stated by acting senate intel leader Rubio) that foreign countries essentially are festering these revolutionaries, if a government that's sympathetic to them is elected, they will fester it at an even greater level. It's clear that the federal government cannot protect the people of the US.

The "protests"(in fact, the insurrection) inside the US is a sad hallmark in our country.

 

And he is winning. People will see how liberal policies have utterly failed them. If Trump bails them out, then the damage the liberals have done will be sugarcoated.

 

This was not a natural disaster.

It was politically orchestrated. They refused to stop it as the damage was going on.

Maybe after these people are forced to deal with the consequences of their own policies they supported they might start singing a different tune.
No bailout.

The real question is will Minneapolis ever be able to recover, or will it become like so many other big cities in the belt that stretches from St. Louis Missouri to Indiana and Detroit Michigan, which experienced middle class white flight and urban decay starting in the 70s.

Err, they did call up the National Guard and lock it down. Didn't take long at all.
