For those with perhaps less context, a quick recap.

Obama despised Biden.

Obama endorsed Hillary over Biden in 2016.

Obama endorsed Biden this time only when the other candidates had dropped out.

Obama, last week leaked that Biden was a moron and always F's things up. He wanted that in the news.

Tonight Obama made the convention about him, overshadowing the VP candidate (which was the point of today).

Tonight Obama went into temper tantrum mode about Trump. Translated that means he's still butt hurt about his legacy of failure.

 

Maybe thats a Biden impression.

I'll ignore the taunt and respond factually. Our borders are closed other than to people (including returning Aussies including Aussie Military) who, when they arrive go into Govt controlled and regulated quarantine at their own expense for 14 days. That also applies internally between States.

 

The taunt was the xenophobic comment, ~ "How xenophobic that country must be," ~ but I guess you did not see that.

 

Huh huhhh huhhh hah haa, when OUR PRESIDENT wanted to suspend travel from the epicenter he was a called a "racist xenophobe" as he would be now if he enacted the same policy as your foreign nation now enjoys, yet you sit here and bash him for the numbers of OUR Nations pandemic numbers. I've watched it nearly every damn day.

Further, there is nothing xenophobic about treating every entrant the same way as we do down here. Sure, come in.....but no matter who you are, you are going into Govt controlled and regulated quarantine at your own expense for FOURTEEN Days. Let me know where the xenophobia can be found there.

I have, as most have, been critical of Trump's "handling" of the pandemic. I cannot recall ever 'stumping' for Biden. Maybe you can enlighten me on where I have done that, okay?

 

Simply by being so critical of him here, Biden is the only other viable option and called him a "xenophobe" for wanting to limit travel as you are very well aware of. Dont be coy. I can use the search function. You know you support Biden over him.

 

I pity anyone who wasn't moved by Obama's speech. It was a reality check in the extreme, and very moving.

The caliber of comments on this forum particularly coming from the right establishes clearly the level of sophistication here is very poor. Whenever I meet a foreigner, I often remark that there are more stupid people per square mile in America than any of the western developed countries. Hopefully, the better angels will win and that there are more of us than them ( who actually get out and vote) in November.

I'd support, as I have said a zillion times, a drover's dog over Trump. I'd also prefer that the Democrats came up with someone with a brain cell. They didn't, but at least they found a VP nominee who can still find her way to the dunny.
