Seriously now? Really? Why the hell is Christianity of any relevance? It is just one of many religions on this planet ... no more and no less. So why should the Bible and the religious things of Christians be of importance to anyone else who is not a Christian or even belongs to any religion like me who is convinced atheist, eh? State, society and religions must always be strictly separated ... that is called secularism! I respect every religion on this planet as long as it does not think it is the only true and correct religion, puts itself above all others and also thinks that it has the rght to force all others to submit to their religious ideology and point of view ... and this view belongs to and is valid to all religions! In other words: If someone thinks he has to believe in the Bible and its content, then he should do that ... for me the Bible is a book of fairy tales with a certain historical core of things that also happened at the respective times. So believe in your Christian God, that's your business and I don't care if you are a Christian, Muslim, Jew, Hindu, Buddhist or just worship the next tree as a god or whatever else! But please stop playing the Christian missionary here and presenting well-founded, scientific knowledge and progress as the work of a certain Satan, just because it refutes or contradicts the content of your Bible in which you believe, at least in part. And about Christianity itself: in history it was a brake on humanity and it has done a lot of evil. For example... Witch hunt, known? Of course ... if a storm destroyed the harvest, it was either God's punishment for some sins or it could just have been the work of a witch! So you pick one and burn it or make one of the Christian judgments of God like this: They are tied up and thrown into a deep lake. If she drowns, then she was guilty! I thought the same thing. Its as if somenoe drew up a list of the worst aspects of Trump and Trumpism and then insisted that this is about 'progressives'. Given that the GOP is now the Party of Trump the only logical conclusion is that the GOP is satanic. I’m not belittling you but rather dealing with Christians in general who feel that they are under attack because they no longer have the authority to order students to pray in school. Also there is the notion that Jesus said this so maybe they should create conditions to make it so. But I will grant you that in the wider world outside the west Christians are definitely behind assailed.
