As normal for the NYT, this is false: https://www.foxnews.com/politics/trump-new-york-times-avoid-paying-taxes-totally
Communism (socialism) is the battle cry against anything and everything conservatives don't like, even if they use that service themselves...
Mitch married well and inherited millions when his mother-in-law died. Moral of the story: Marry well. https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2020/06/02/mitch-mcconnell-got-rich-old-fashioned-way/ Biden couldn't manage to save a penny for decades on a rather handsome Senate income, unlike his peers. During two years after the Obama administration's exit, Biden and his wife made $15 MILLION on book sales. Moral of the story: Sit around Senate for half a century wasting all your income while your peers become millionaires, then cash in on a book about your son's brain cancer. https://www.thousandaire.com/joe-bidens-net-worth-is-embarrassing/ https://www.usatoday.com/story/news...e-15-million-obama-administration/1686674001/
I hope not. This story at least allowed me to respect Trump, even if just a little bit. Tax cheats should be celebrated! It is the patriotic duty of every American!
Your 'guilty of a biased newspaper charge' until proven innocent attitude goes against our justice system. Tell me, what law did Trump break?
Biden is a fool with his money. He was broke most of his years in Congress, which is pretty hard to do. Apparently his writing skills must be on par with Ernest Hemingway though. What ordinary citizen could make multiple millions writing a book about their son's cancer if they aren't an extraordinarily gifted writer.
That's what Vance is getting to the bottom of, but other released documents show him reporting different occupancy numbers to the IRS than he is to banks.
That would be an IRS matter, just another smear attempt by a biased prosecutor, right before the election.
What greed? What exploitation? I work for a guy who owns 3 business organizations. He makes sure he never makes a profit so that he doesn't owe the IRS money. One asset he owns is an office building where he rents out offices to businesses. If that building has made taxable income, he'll invest in new flooring for the building, replace the A/C system, or other upgrades. He dumps taxable profits back into the business, then has zero taxable income. If the government takes the money, the building would get run down. That isn't greed. It is tax avoidance, and it is very good for the economy.
If he is providing different numbers to the IRS than he is to the banks, as it appears that he has, then that's either tax fraud, bank fraud, or both. Vance's investigation isn't just about "IRS matters."
Being proud to have voted for a proven fraudster is another proof of the fall of morality in this country. But Trumpists no longer surprise me. Trump himself is outraged when his opponents pay, according to him, little tax.
If it is a deduction and business related....why not? Are all leftists government employed or work in such a manner they don't have deductions? You mello guy can pay as much tax is you want. You are welcome to exceed the demand. That is not good business however.
Hopefully Vance or someone will look into whether or not Hunter Biden paid income taxes on the $3.5M payment he got from the Russians. Since you're so interested in justice you'll be glad to know Durham is now looking into the Clinton Foundation as part of his investigation.
If you don't like it....change the tax code. I'd like to. Don't blame a business man for using the breaks given him.
