    LOL, I don't know who is the hateful one, me, or the one who wants to actively hurt America by betting against it, if their candidate gets voted out.

    BTW, you can be sure we'll resurrect this thread when the stock market keeps going up under Biden, and you are sitting on the sidelines and sulking.

    But, if you really want to know what I am going to do if Biden wins:
    I'll do what I have done with ANY president: Live my life, continue to go to work and do the best for my students and my research, love my family, keep investing in the stock market for retirement, continue to wear masks and behave responsibly by not going to bars -- until the vaccine is here.... You know, the kind of things that regular people do, for whom politics is entertainment, but not their life.

    Because democrats invest in people and small business. And like i said, a larger back pay check of my own tax money.

    Hopefully if Biden is elected we will finally have a NATIONAL plan to fight Covid 19 pandemic because God knows we need one with 4% of the world population BUT 20% of both the confirmed cases and deaths from it. We are by far and away the worlds worst country in handling the pandemic.We need to restore some if not all the clean water standards and clean air standards which Trump has killed by EO's

    Because they make that possible, by insuring your business can afford that by giving people grants, loans, education or assistance free of charge. When we demand you pay $15 an hour its cause you most likely get government assistance..Such as walmart profiting off EBT.

    I think investing in people directly is a better solution rather then filtering it through Walmart to doll out as min wage partime jobs.

    We did..Get a better working stimulus bill. Perhaps even get healthcare away from employers and into a single payer system freeing up even more money for the economy.

    Which is why I'd get out of the stock market. American companies will suffer. Not sure how to invest in China but that's a thought.

    $15 an hour, $600 for a 40 hour work week gross, around $ 480 take home, in most states is not going to make anyone able to pay rent for a 2 bedroom appt., pay utilities, and car payment let alone feed ones self . Paying a higher minimum wage makes far more sense in a consumer driven economy where they by necessity will spend it, than paying one person MILLIONS of dollars who will not put the vast majority of it back into the economy.
