This is not the first time that Dems have made claims like this. It wasn't very many years ago, in fact ...

Procedural cases are usually going to be... well, procedural.
There is very little in the way that ideology can impact these cases.

The ones that have major ramifications for a large percentage of Americans are rarely unanimous.

How did you arrive at your remark? Or are you asserting Gorsuch and Kavanaugh are “justices from the minority party”.

My argument is that judges should not be chosen because of their party affiliation but if they are the court should have a centrist tilt.

Unless the DNC point blank continues to refuse to learn any meaningful lesson from the political debacles called Hillary and Biden then the Dem Party will almost certainly win back the presidency in 2024 due to natural eight year election cycles. But that does not automatically mean also winning either the House or the Senate.

That's a fact since half the time Chief Justice Roberts rules as if he's actually a Constitution despising nation hating radical of some sort. You never know about they fellow.

Where is the virtue in centrists? Their job is to protect the Constitution primarily in the ebb and flow, not slowly give it away.

I am of the opinion that Roberts just likes to rule in favor of the government when the government is involved and the status quo whenever possible.

They arent, and I dont care what you remove from your response. Makes no difference to me.

Everything I have said up to this point is true.

I'm confident in republicans gaining back control if we lose it. So I'm down.

Your “stacking the court” is as clear as a whistle.

as for “should not be chosen”, why have a different parties then? What be the purpose?

Stacking the court is what Republicans have done

We shouldn’t have a duopoly, the founders spoke against political parties — they felt people would eventually put those parties over their own nation causing an irreparable division.
    Seems accurate to me

What happens to your analysis if Democrats take back the Presidency in 8 days?
What if they also take the Senate?

Strange that I say other nations and you immediately go to Venezuela.

Israel and Japan both have 15
    Many countries have 30+

But I guess if your argument boils down to fearmongering and buzzwords that one doesn’t understand... Venezuela it is...

Then we can watch the left destroy itself. That will be an early Christmas present.

To cobble together a voting coalition the democrats have created a victim mentality that does nothing but destroy. If there is no opposition then it will destroy itself.

Out of the last 5 Republican presidents, how many would be elected if only the Wyoming rule had been implemented? The answer is 1.
You add one state and the answer becomes 0
Add two states and the answer is... still 0

Republicans may win another election but it would be after major reforms.

I have no doubt they will win another election, regardless of the actions you mention. The country is turning away from the identity politics of hte left. This is happening slowly, but surely.

Elections don’t seem to indicate that people are turning away from the left, nor do polls — but again, we see in 8 days

Its happening, this is an objective fact. Minorities are slowly but surely learning that hte left is not their ally in anything other than words.

Identity politics is becoming more and more unpopular with virtually every group.

8 days from now I am fairly certain Trump loses and dems make some gains.

However in the long run, the gains will be on the right. People are waking up, even as the left inflames their emotions for temporary gains.

Pancreatic cancer doesn’t kill you right away, unfortunately. It is a long, slow, inevitable process; meaning that she had time to consider the good of the country, or at the very least, the Democrat Party. If Ginsburg had had any real integrity, then she would have done the honorable thing and stepped down the moment that her pancreatic cancer was discovered in 2009. But no, Ginsburg selfishly wanted the power that she had in the Supreme Court; perhaps as a means of furthering whatever agenda that the Obamacrats had planned for America at the time. In the end, Ginsburg’s selfishness gave the Democrat Party exactly what it deserved today; to watch a conservative supermajority be created in the Supreme Court of the United States for the first time in U.S. history, and to watch an ultra-liberal Ginsburg be replaced by a very conservative Justice Barrett. Let this day serve as the final legacy of what is hopefully Trump’s first term as our President.

Presuming the Democrats win the Senate. If they don't win the Senate, the pack the court idea is dead.

I would ask you how your polls are looking for the 2020 Senate but I grow so tired of the “polls are fake” mantra and will abstain. Instead we don’t have to guess. 7 days.
