    This is how it's always been, though.

    When the party has the WH and Senate in an election year, they get the seat confirmed.
    When they are opposing parties, they do not get the seat confirmed.

    That's how it works.

    It's happened numerous times, and that's always how it's played out, with the outliers being one time a judge got confirmed when the parties were different and one time a judge didn't get confirmed when the parties were the same.

    It may be suboptimal, but that's the way it is.

    They've all nominated. Confirmation has only happened once, when the parties were different in Senate and WH.

    That leads to 44 seats the next time team other is in charge.

    Then we get to a point where we need a new SCOTUS building, to house the 3,022 judges.

    Like I said, you have zero qualifications just as I do but you ignore the thousands that do have qualifications because “you are an American”.
