One of Trump's last tweets before election might be the most disturbing?

If those Americans are engaged in armed rebellion just because an election didn't go their way, then they will be put down, and they deserve to be. Fortunately such mental and emotional children aren't likely to actually act.

I agree with Scarmouche. In the final analysis, Trump is a coward, he's afraid of losing because he's afraid of being prosecuted for all the obstruction offenses Mueller has on him.

After he loses he will make a deal, No prosecution and he will resign quietly. Otherwise, he'll burn down many things in the time he has left. He could truly trash the WH and no one could really stop him

It's really a shame that we somehow allowed the ******* Republicans to foist what amounted to John Gotti on us as a President. I hope we will do things to end them as a political influence in this country forever.

I think you are missing the point.

Trump claims the election-result will end up in court. If Trump had been a nobody then nobody would take notice of such a comment.

But who is the other guy (other than Biden) who is in the race for this election?

    Trump!!

So how could the election-result end up in court?

You guessed it; ONLY if Trump refuses to concede defeat and forces the Supreme Court to intervene.

Read the tweet again; it's not about what Trump predicts, it's about what he WANTS!
In his tweet Trump is suggesting what he WANTS to happen, if he loses the election.

Thus, logically, he needs to refuse his defeat if he ever wants to get there...

    Got it?!

He's probably more scared of Vance than Mueller at this point, but other than that, yep.

He's calling a legal election an "authoritarian" "power grab," yet he appears to harbor sympathy toward those who would take up arms to enforce their will on the public if they lost . . . which would be, you know, actual authoritarianism.

Unlike Trump, I actually support the 1st Amendment. And my very first posts in this forum where in support of the 2nd. Dems aren't going to take either from you if they win. If the 1st Amendment can survive Trump, who shows open disdain for it and has tried to use the courts to attack people's 1st Amendment rights, then it can survive anyone.

should ex-felons be able to own a gun after they finish their sentence, I think they should, I think rights are taken away during sentencing and given back when the sentence is completed, how about you? voting, gun rights, religious freedom, freedom of speech should all be restored upon completion of ones sentence

if you do not support the above, you think gun ownership is a privilege rather then a right

So I'll put you down for "Terrorists and other felons should have grenade launchers." Cute. I don't believe you actually mean it, but cute.

I had it before you wrote all that. He is making a prediction, not a threat. He thinks the election is rigged and so do I. If he loses he will go away but not without a fight. That is my prediction.

Yes. We get it. If you guys lose, the election was "rigged." Since none of you, especially Trump, will ever come up with an evidence-based version of this argument, you are welcome to your faith-based beliefs.

2016 showed that the system is rigged. Thankfully Trump was able to triumph in the end.

The only claim I made about Russian collusion was that the Trump Tower meeting happened. But good to know you think that your argument is as bad as the "collusion delusion" that you deride. Completely irrational, but good to know.

I didn't say my argument was bad or irrational. You did.

You literally just compared it to an argument that you consider bad and irrational.

at least your consistent, I also say I am a stronger supporter of the Second Amendment than the right... though I do support restrictions on things like machine guns, have no issue with them being harder to buy, no one needs to walk through a mall with an assault riffle in their hands either

I also do not mind restrictions from carrying a gun to a political rally, a courtroom, or an airplane...

but every American should have the right to own a gun to protect their homes and families

Yes, he is likely to do all of that and maybe more, but when it becomes clear, even to his thick skull, that he's lost, he'll run. The whole family will probably go with him, since they may be facing legal troubles of their own.

This is just a guess/opinion on my part, but it's based on what I know of Trump, both since he ran for president and from having lived in NYC for many years ... we didn't call him The Donald out of respect or affection.
