Not sure what to make of this but do I read here that Trump expects the election to be decided in the courts..?!

Meaning, Trump confirms he has NO intention of conceding defeat. As expected.



As I read it, Trump CLEARLY expects (like some future vision) that Biden is ONLY elected by decision of the Supreme Court.

Who knows what goes on in Trump's head, he's all over the place.
But I can only take this for Trump's confession that he will try to take an election defeat to the the SC.

When you think about what Democrats are talking about it would be an authoritative dictatorship where we would have to bow down to the Democrats. Packing the court, adding states, redistricting, open boarders, letting the world vote in our elections. What democrats are talking about is a end of a Republic.

 

Adding new court seats has happened many, many times in the past. In case you skipped history class, so has adding states. So has redistricting. None of those things were the "end of a Republic," and they won't be in the future. None of the rest is anything Dems are talking about.

The end of a republic (democracy) is when a President claims, EVEN BEFORE THE RESULT IS IN, that the election will be decided in the courts.

Read the tweet again. It's not even a suggestion on Trump's part.
He states it as a matter of fact; It will end in the courts.

Trump completely ignores the fact that a voting-result will decide the election. And the result IS the democratic process, whatever republic or monarchy or institution you live under.

The American people, if Trump loses, DO NOT ASK HIM to burden the nation with his bad loser behavior.

They will demand that he vacates the White House.

I don't think fear of terrorist militias is a good enough reason. Sorry. If you are talking about non-criminal militias forming, then no, I don't give a ****. McConnell stacked the courts as much as he possibly could. Was that an attempt to make the judiciary a political branch of the GOP?

We're about to find out (Tuesday) how much Trump REALLY despises the democratic process of an election. And democracy as a whole.
That thing that is supposed to prevent the US from sliding into Banana-republic territory.

Don't count on it.

Come Tuesday, Trump will p*ss on the will of the American people. Ignoring a result that might conclude he is the losing candidate.
