Judging from the Xi-Biden victory we'll be living in that world come next year, making Mandarin the obvious choice.
Mmm... that's a tough point in life, because, if your experience is like mine, you're probably too young to retire yet, but, you've probably hit a 'plateau' in your ability to acquire a great deal more wealth -- which, believe me, you WILL need in your eventual retirement. It's more difficult for a guy in his mid-fifties now because of the virus (of course), and because of the relentless move of corporations toward AI, robotics, and 'customer-self-help' -- all of which things will eliminate millions of what were formerly 'good' jobs. My unsolicited advice would be to pay off your mortgage if you haven't done so already -- and don't take on any additional indebtedness! Good luck -- we're all going to need it, especially from about now until the end of next May. A REALLY bad winter is coming, even after Biden/Kamala-la-la and their Congress finally get off their asses and kick out that next batch of welfare checks for twelve-hundred bucks.
LOL.. As if democrats hadn't already done this over the proceeding four years... But sure. And frankly, aren't you just the teensiest bit skeptical about the sudden emergence of entire blocks of exclusive Biden ballots? I mean, is this even statistically reasonable? I don't think so. And these "dumps" haven't been isolated, and seem to be permeating the races in MI, PA, and now looks like GA is being flooded. And now that AZ is decidedly turning back to Trump, what will democrats say about their attempt to not count those votes for Trump there? Or in Nevada?
Neither of those elections had the mail in, drop off, absentee voting we have seen in this election. I don't believe that all these new processes of obtaining and processing votes doesn't come with added mistakes.
Yeah ok, ignore. You're new here, but I don't have time for your non-sense. Go play with the other children.
Yeah, but from what I've observed, for people who have English as their 'first' language, Mandarin Chinese is very, VERY difficult to learn! Hell, we're a country where, thanks to our wonderous 'public education system' most of our past two generations can just barely even read or write ENGLISH -- how are they ever going to learn Mandarin Chinese...? Russian would surely be easier (based as much of it was in Greek), even though they use the Cyrillic alphabet. At least Russian doesn't use articles, which causes no end of problems in trying to master languages like German!
I can speak and understand (but not read or write) Mandarin if that helps. However I am a Londoner of Irish descent. My only comment regarding the demonising of China in recent times, is to repeat a comment made to me by an American when America was demonised due to the Vietnam war. 'It's a big country'. Will history look back at these fake news times and declare Trump's 'leadership' as a fake Presidency? Will he now pay his back taxes, or is he too smart for that?
Do your research, it’s not my job to make you be informed. Fact of the matter is, it’s happened. The fact is, the media and the dems are far worse than anyone else.
SNIP Under election rules, each group contesting the vote is allowed to have 134 challengers monitor the counting process. But early on Wednesday, about 400 challengers were freely roaming the room as poll workers counted the 25,000 absentee ballots from Detroiters. That included: 134 Republican challengers; 134 Democratic challengers and 134 nonpartisan challengers, including groups like the ACLU and the League of Women voters. ENDSNIP Sounds fair to me.. More snowflake whining from the newly formed Snowflake Party..
Ballots are ballots... the fact that it takes longer to do it doesn't mean there will be 20K worth of mistakes. But at least this is a valid request.. unlike.... well..... everything else so far... Good luck!
Mandarin is easy to learn. If you learned and memorised ten words a day for fifty days I reckon you could live and work in China. Takes a bit of effort, but it can be done without much trouble. No tenses, no gender loads of other stuff that clutters up English is not there in Mandarin. Putonghua shi zhen bu cuo.
Thanks for the thoughts. !!!! I did pay off my mortgage, and having a home less than a mile from the ocean in a hill in central NJ is quite good. Unfortunately I shacked with the wrong woman a few years ago and am still paying for it.
No there was no wave, losing seats in the House, no change to any state governments, losing ground black and Hispanic votes and I'm hearing rural. Remember Trump got over 300 electoral votes last time.
Put a fork in it. GA goes for Trump. Thanks to all the hard work in GA, Trump will take the 16 electoral votes now.
have any news outlets reported that X ballots were considered invalid? I haven't see that anywhere as of yet.
Providing it's covid safe observers for all candidates should be observing the count. For the life of me I don't see why not, it is an additional layer of fairness. All valid votes should be counted.
