I feel broken, devastated, and exhausted.

False. A news media website is still considered a publisher and does not have the same protections.

I'm sorry, but telling me you doubt something I directly stated I saw the mods publicly post is tantamount to just that.

No, it isn't. It's waiting to believe something until one sees actual evidence. Some of us base our opinions on evidence. We aren't going to apologize for that.

I notice you ignored my question then insisted I answer you’re question with narrow parameters for acceptable answers. Sorry, I don’t play that game.

The reason some members of minority ethnic groups voted for Trump came down to two issues. Economic reasons and abortion. Most Latin American immigrants are socially conservative. Religion is powerful where many come from and abortion rights only exist in a handful of those countries. The economic reasons are they felt that a president whose talking about "opening up the economy" is less likely to cost their jobs. Cubans vote for anyone who hates Castro and his legacy in Cuba. Not much of an issue for 99% of Americans these days, I mean I think Cuba only mattered for a couple weeks back in the 60's as I recall...

Of course, you also have plenty of non-white voters who voted against Trump.

Here's the fallacy. Non-whites are people just like whites. They are complex and have a range of issues of varying priorities that they care about. They aren't a monolith nor a lock for any political party. To win their votes, you have to appeal to the issues they care most about. So if you do that, they will probably vote for you. This mystery surrounding votes of non-whites is an example of how white people just don't think the same of others as they do themselves. And perhaps that's not a problem exclusively of white people, but it seems to be a problem for white Republican voters.

My question is directly related to your question and includes what the over all discussion is about. Simply referring to the TOS is meaningless when we are talking about whether they are a platform or a publisher and whether they should receive the protections of being a platform or allowed to be sued as a publisher.

But not for their news media section. Which is what made your statement false.

Exactly. MAYBE Democrats will figure that out someday before their party implodes. Right now, it looks like they're about to go in the opposite direction and double-down on race separation.

How about we give all this conflict a rest, & try being a good American for awhile before getting into another fight over issues far less important than our shared Americanism?

Well, let's not get ahead of ourselves. After all, you just did what I said. Democrats didn't lose hispanic of black votes. Biden just didn't appeal to as many of them as Hillary did. OR, more people voted and more Republican Hispanic and Black voters also voted in 2020. Either way, neither party is in danger of what you said. And if you think that Hispanics and Blacks in this country feel like your party is looking out for them, think again. When it comes to race relations, Trump didn't even hit the backboard. I have friends who are both black and republican and they couldn't vote for him because of it. Anecdotal, but also happened in this election.

The real key to winning votes is empathy. You have to put yourself is the voter's shoes. Trump is incapable being a psychopath. So nominate someone who is capable, which would have been anyone but Trump in the 2016 pool, and you will do better. Rubio and Cruz come to mind.

Yeah, cause this is accurate or at all making a point. I like how you retreat to your meme's when you have nothing real to say. I must be getting old. I prefer thoughts and words.

Disagreement is part of coming together. Coming together isn't, Trump gets 100% his way. Sorry. It's not Biden gets 100% his way. It's about identifying differences and making a deal. Something your guy claimed to be amazing at...but wasn't. He was slightly worse than my five year old at it.

Where was it in 2008, or 2010, or 2012? Both sides have long memories. Both sides have experienced pain. But it's time we realize we're all Americans, & we still have far more in common with each other than we have in differences. We need to change our concentration to those things we have in common, & beomce a united community again. Continuing the conflict will only damage us more. Who wins doing that?

Did you miss the constant vitriol and resistance to his every move over 4 years? Does that really require me to type multiple paragraphs? Really? Did you miss all that? The absolute venom from elected Democrats towards him? Mad Maxine calling for mob harassment of his cabinet officials? Should I go on? Madonna in DC the next day with hundred or so thousand leftist clapping as she "thought" about blowing up the WH? 70% of Democrats skipping his inauguration. Yes, that can be summed up in a meme to anyone who paid attention these last 4 years.

Everything you cite here as negative to your side can be offered in equal measure in actions taken by Republicans against Obama while he was in office. Do you think our pain then was any less than yours now? Do you think our anger was any less? But we have collectively elected Biden the peacemaker. And it is clear that Biden is correct in his evaluation that America needs healing. Will you become a part of that, or continue to attack & leave pain in your wake as an American & a human being?

When did a Republican in a high position tell people to form a mob and publicly harass members of Obama's cabinet and then multiple instances ensued? What elected Republican said "We are gonna impeach the MotherFer"?

So lets say we do, will it continue the next time an R gets the WH? What if Trump somehow wins?
