    Used my day off work to start purge cleaning. House is a mess now but at least there are three trash cans fewer things in it. Now, to put things that survived toss-out day back in their place...

    No, I actually have one that never even made it out of the box. I don't even want to think how many garbage cans I could fill with stuff that needs to go. But it will happen, when the long delayed tear down of this shack happens.

    My lunch hour is just now half over. This day is dragging out for-evah. Wish I worked at google or was in kindergarten again so I could have a mid-day nap. Perhaps I should change careers and become a mattress tester.

    Thx sweetie! Not a day w/o drama since when we took dad home after celebrating with breakfast.. to discover they drilled a screw through their bedroom door as a lock to keep us out. We took the screw out and went to CVS to pick up dads meds... and they were there when we got back. She called the police on us for 'kicking down their door.' We hung around to wait for the cops who saw no signs the door had been kicked and advised her to settle down.... and start packing.

    2 tequila shots & a Cuba Libra, please bartender.

    Oh wait, thats me! ;)

    Wow I just read I can have dual citizenship. Because my grandparents, all 4 of them, had my parents before they became U.S. citizens, the chain of italian citizenship was never broken.

    If I'm reading this right, I think that's pretty cool to know
