Can you believe the irony of that statement. The man died for nothing. Yes, definitely learn a lesson from Cain!

Trump probably killed the guy and they don't give a damn.

So far so good, more people get positive and asymptomatic with less deaths.

Herman Cain's immunity is ''so far so good''?

    Ps It's fewer not less.

No idea, but I'm not going to rely on it during a pandemic responsible for 1.34 million deaths so far.
I prefer to rely on social distancing, wearing a mask indoors when social distancing is difficult and washing my hands.
Right now I'm complying with the latest lockdown regulations by only leaving my home for essential shopping ie food.

In Key West, Florida, people there are required to wear the mask of be fined up to $500. Think about that.

All residents of Key West must wear masks any time they leave their homes -- even when they're able to keep a safe distance from others.

The most populous city in the Florida Keys issued the tough new mask requirement Thursday. It's among the most stringent mask measures in Florida, where coronavirus cases have surpassed over 905,000 statewide.

If Key West residents repeatedly fail to wear a face mask when they're in public, even when social distancing is possible, they can be fined up to $500 after a verbal warning and civil citation, the ordinance rules.

The ordinance exempts children under age 6, private workers and gymgoers, among some other groups.

Key West Mayor Terri Johnson said during a weekly update on Facebook she'd asked city manager Greg Veliz to authorize overtime for Key West police so they can better enforce the ordinance in areas with heavy foot traffic.

"We're trying to regain control of our more crowded outdoor areas," Veliz said during Thursday's commission meeting.

Monroe County, home to the Florida Keys, has recorded nearly 3,000 Covid-19 cases since the start of the pandemic. Almost half of those cases were recorded in Key West, according to the county.

The county took a strong stance on coronavirus in March, when it closed off access to the Keys to anyone who didn't live or work on the islands. The Keys, which see over 5 million tourists in a typical year, reopened to visitors in June.

Overall, Florida's coronavirus response has been fairly relaxed despite recording the third-highest number of Covid-19 cases in the US. Gov. Ron DeSantis has resisted mandating masks statewide and in September allowed restaurants and bars in the state to reopen at full, pre-pandemic capacity.

But several cities and counties where cases have surged have enforced their own mask mandates. Miami-Dade County, the former Covid-19 epicenter and most populous county in Florida, has required residents to wear masks in public since July.

Why isn't it possible? China was able to do it, and they have three times the population.

Meantime, your second suggestion is not even remotely real.

Same way every locked down nation has done it. Just do it.

Not sure why it would be any different in America? Humans/movement, etc .. same conditions as everywhere else.

In prepping for the Olympics, China had little kids jumping up and down for 12 straight hours, seven days a week, to prepare for the opening ceremony.

Not one parent in the US would allow that to happen to their young child. In China, parents didn't have a choice.

    See the difference?

It's different because it's still America, at least for now. Not even the people who issue these orders will obey them. Remember Pelosi and her hairdresser?

Freedom requires taking personal responsibility for making the right choices. What trumpees have proven is that much of what was America is too selfish and ignorant for freedom to survive

When people can't be bothered to wear a mask, a minor inconvenience, to avoid killing other people, they have ZERO quality of character. It is selfish, spineless, and cruel.

Yes it is. But it seems many are selecting the information they want to take seriously or minimizing the pandmeic the way Trump has done. Too many mixed messages contribute to the problem too. But the basic precautions are simple , so it seems very irresponsible to ignore them. Not sure why folks would choose to put blinders on during a deadly pandemic. If they are following Trump.......... the question is WHY??.......when he is not an example of responsible behavior. The fact that he is not even addressing the issue and has not done fso for some time.........speaks volumes as to what thinks of it. If it is not about HIM.......he is not interested. IF it does not give him the attention he so craves ....... same thing.

IF you ask me, that language is too wishy washy. Trump is guilty of mass murder and his followers knew what they were choosing.

Trump just exposed their black hearts. Now the consequences of their choice are rising up and they refuse to see it.

and sadly, his own. Andyes.....the messaging should be simple, direct and firm. (and consistent)

Trump would rather spend his time trying to overturn the election ( and pervert the democracy).....like some third world tyrant........than do thejob hewaselceted to do.

It has been months since he attended the special task force and we hear nothing from Pence who is supposed to be heading i

187,733 new cases in the US today [the 19th] - a new high

2015 US deaths - the highest since last May. And those deaths originate from infections a few weeks ago when we had around 60,000 - 70,000 new cases a day. The rate of infection today is almost 3x greater.

The Institute for Health Metrics and Evaluation at the University of Washington School of Medicine projects that based on current trends, we can expect to see 471,000 Covid deaths by March 1st.

Their latest forecast assumes that 40 states will reimpose social distancing mandates, but if they don't, deaths could skyrocket to 658,000.

    Worldmeter is listing:

201,083 new cases in the US. Broke the 200K mark for one day. [11/20/2020]

    1951 Covid deaths today.

It took about 80 days to add the first 1 million cases. Now we are adding 1 million cases every 5 days. Assuming the 2% mortality we have seen compared to new cases, we expect to lose 4000 people a day in a few weeks.

    That is very stupid proposition.
When infected person wears a mask on the street that mask accumulates billions of viruses. When that person enters the store or any other facility those viruses from the mask immediately get disseminated in the air increasing virus concentration. As the result more people get infected. It is a simple politics, politicians do not care about people they care only about unlimited power to make people slaves.

    Wow!

I am so glad to learn about the unlimited power of the COVID Conspiracy!

So were the COVID viruses are trained to know when they enter a store to "immediately get disseminated in the air increasing virus concentration"?

Maybe the Bill Gates Conspiracy has equipped every store and facility with a air-blower to immediately disseminate virus into the air like the funhouse blowers in Coney Island showing Marilyn Monroe skirts up!

I wouldn't want to be stupid and be the victim of "unlimited power to make me be a slave!"
