If you want some interesting reading, do a bit of digging on a parallel but lesser known Nixon strategy to make inroads into immigrant communities. It particularly targetted Southern & Eastern European communities who were thought (with good reason) to be sympathetic to the GOP hard line on Communism. The upshot of this was the recruitment of a number of 'reliable anti-Communists' who had some VERY unfortunate WW2 associations.

Bush Snr. ended up having a bit of a purge of these individuals when some of their names & details became public around 1990. Can't help but think that if it came out now that the GOP had a number of organizers who were genuine WW2 Fascists that as long as Trump OKed it the party would shrug & do nothing.

Oh, and both Bushes granted asylum/visas to a couple of Cubans who blew up a Cuban plane in 1976 killing 73 people.

There are some white supremacists among the Proud Boys, but as an organization there are 'merely' a violent, far right organization rather than being white supremacist. They have non-white members. This doesn't make them acceptable, just not white supremacist.

There are lots of other white supremacists running around on the right and theyare pretty big Trump fans.

Oh, i know. My favorite part of all that was how they had rhem disruoting political activity of the true left (labor) by infiltraing their unions under the auspices.of fighting communism. How amazingly effective this obviously absurd pretense was. They created the image that unions were.communist plots themselves and then used the pretense to disrupt their political activities. Very Trumpy.

We see.the parrots still today, like Loeffler and her robotic, repeated delivery of the phrase "radical liberal" in her recent debate.

Right. Nazis are the friends of Republicans. Trump made that clear and the Senate Republicans silently approved.

You're talking ancient history. LOTS has happened since then. Republicans used to actually be conservative, too, and that was just 20 years ago.

Yeah, I learned it from my mother-in-law who was Cherokee. And no, I don't consider it to be a "racially derogatory slur". Maybe you don't know how the term originated.

My father was part Eastern Canadian "Indian" and he was an alcoholic.

Agreed! And just for the record, I didn't say Proud Boys were white supremacists.

It doesn’t matter what you think is a racially derogatory slur. It only matters if the target of your attack thinks that it is a slur. That is the entire purpose of Title IX. Maybe certain authority figures around here can get off my back about that now.

So I can be accused of being a racist because you THINK I might be. LOL!!!!!

Like I said, maybe you don't know how the term "fire water" originated. That would be surprising since you're a Native American, but then again, there have been plenty of other things you haven't seemed to know.

Yeah, like I said, there have been plenty of things you didn't seem to know. Title IX is another one.

Title IX states that: “No person in the United States shall, on the basis of sex, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any education program or activity receiving Federal financial assistance.”

That is how Title IX laws work, which is why I mentioned it. Tell a racist joke at work in front of a minority sometime and see what I mean; it wouldn’t matter if you were “just kidding” either.

It doesn’t matter what you think I should know, only that you uttered a slur to me that is most commonly associated with a certain racial/ethnic demographic and I took offense to it. That’s all it takes, bro.

There, I highlighted the core part of that for you. The key word there is “discrimination.”

That's not what Title IX is.

I didn't "utter a slur". If I had said "you are hooked on 'fire'water' like all the other Indians", then it would be a slur. Apparently you don't know the difference. No surprise there. Sorry if I hurt your wittoo tender feewings.

And no, that's not "all it takes". If you really think it's so terrible, report me! Maybe somebody will agree with you.

Then why did you specifically target me with the “Fire water” reference? You can’t justify your racism because you didn’t include all of us in your racist attack. It doesn’t work that way.

Are the parts that I highlighted mentioning federal financial assistance?

My mother-in-law used the term often enough in her light, joking way. So as far as I'm concerned it is not racist. Maybe you misunderstand its origin and have a distorted idea that it's racist. That wouldn't necessarily be your fault, but it may explain this.

It's becoming more and more evident that you are out of your league here, even in this forum. THE WHOLE DEFINITION OF TITLE IX IS ABOUT "PROGRAMS AND ACTIVITIES RECEIVING FEDERAL FINANCIAL ASSISTANCE"!!!

    wow

Yet I did not highlight the whole definition; only the relevant parts of it, which talks about discrimination; which is what you are continuing to defend here.

You sure are milking this for all you can.

I never got the feeling that my mother-in-law considered it to be racist. She once explained it to me and she seemed to just take it in stride. After all, the term originated with and among Native Americans themselves.

So I'll tell you what.... I didn't see it to be racist; I still don't see it as racist; and I'll hereafter keep it in mind that some ultra-sensitive snowflakes are offended by it. MK?

Fair enough. I too, will keep it in mind that Democrats don’t like to be reminded of their racist, slave-owning, Native American-genociding past either.

You still don’t get it, do you?
I would have voted for a tree stump over trump.
He was and remains a clear and present danger to the country I love.

The real question here is how anyone could have ever thought that voting for a corrupt malignant narcissist like trump could benefit America.

Look around you, buddy, and see what trump has done to our country.
I’ll take Biden’s goofy senior moments over trump’s cruel malignant narcissism any day.
