Well, if we’d listened to the Luddites we wouldn’t be in such a pickle. :)

Democratic Party with their blind support for public sector unions created conditions for this.
What do you think happens when public union employees always get a raise and always get a sweetened pension deals. Sooner or later you won’t be able to keep up with the payments.

    Nope it was not.

They may get them for some form of manslaughter or assault but not murder.

APparently the training was not clear about when to let up on the guy. So calling it murder is not gonna fly.

They were trained to hold him down with a knee on his neck. He was also on a massive drug cocktail.

Much Like people screamed it was murder when Wilson show Brown only to find it was justified self defense, people are screaming before the facts are in.

Public sector unions have are not the cause of inner city poverty.
Public sector workers don't make that much money.

I thought you were concerned with the productivity-pay gap?

However, if the Luddites had their way the virus may have stayed stranded in China. Or Italy. Or Spain. Wherever it came from. :)

You wouldn't be thinking there are enough jobs for people, would you?

The right doesn't, generally speaking, make a similar argument about teachers.....nice try though.

However, i don't blame teachers who quit either. Their jobs are being made more and more horrible as well.

bad cops exist all over... bad people exist all over many different fields... the difference is any other criminal, the good police would protect us from them, not watch them kill someone slowly that was restrained with handcuffs over about 10 minutes and do nothing

Cant get the guns if they can’t use the military. There aren’t enough cops (even if they all went along with it) to take on all the gun owners. As soon as it went out they were going to home after home, nobody would wait around for that; they would target the stations and cops on the street.

Getting rid of the insurrection act means no chance of getting guns by threat of death.

    To generalized.

Criminals exist everywhere too, but seems to be a higher power capita in the urban areas.

I wonder if listening to too much right wing rhetoric makes people think in opposites. You know, like how people who have never been to college are more intelligent than those who did. Or how cutting taxes increases revenue. Or the killer, rural counties with very little people and almost no industry are somehow more profitable than cities full of people with a wide range of industry.

Idaho has one third as many people. Idaho is one of the least educated states whereas Colorado is one of the better educated states.

With one third the population, Idaho has three times the infections as Oregon, meaning one is nine times more likely to become infected with Covid-19 in Idaho. Them is some bragging rights.

. The law was created back in the fifties, banning self serve gas stations. It is mostly a job saving law. In Oregon, gas stations have two employees working at a time, one on the cash register and one pumping gas. In other states, there is just the lone cashier.

Every black suspect killed by the police is scrutinized and in MOST cases found to be murdered by the police.

Every white suspect killed by the police... nobody cares.

Does it make sense to you?

But there are. It is just that the density is low enough that the occurrences are less, and less reported. Not all abuse by the police result in killings.

That is not the case in Portland. The police in Portland have brutalized the mentally ill, many of them homeless. Portland is the Whitest major city in the US. There are far more complaints over the treatment of the mentally ill, than the treatment of Blacks specifically.

I’m more interested in facts, such as the ones I present as opposed to your unsubstantiated opinions. What do you think makes you prefer fiction from your own mind over verifiable facts and data? Do you consume too much right wing rhetoric?

Is more debt per capita a measure of success? Is being subsidized by rural counties a measure of success?
