Read it and week, all you radical Democrats. You haven't been able to destroy the First Amendment -- yet, but you'll surely keep on trying!

Oh, so bad for you... now you have to have the nagging worry in the back of your minds that Donnie may run again! :cynic:

    Bahahahhahaha!

Another unjust impeachment, with a failure to convict. Amazing.

Great Job to the republicans who had the balls to stand against dems and say Hell no! To thier authoritarian bullshit.

2 badges of honor for Trump, and zero convictions.

Don’t think anyone really wants him running again. Regardless of some of the positive things he’s done, the damage the MSM unleashes on us just might not be worth it. And he’ll be too old.

Very surprised that 7 found a backbone. I assumed that, maybe with the exception of Romney, the Rep senators would fall meekly into line.

NOW -- a new, very nation-enriching and 'cleansing' precedent has been established in the United States -- a former-President of the United States actually CAN be IMPEACHED by the House, and CONVICTED by the Senate!

This is actually wonderful news, and is LONG overdue in a number of cases!

Immediately, the Congress should focus its attention on bringing Articles of Impeachment against the following for criminal or just downright STOOPID acts which imperiled or damaged the United States of America:

    1. Abraham Lincoln -- for wrecking the 10th-Amendment of the Constitution and getting over 600,000 Americans killed.
    2. Woodrow Wilson -- for stupidly leading a liberal Democrat faction that hamstrung the economy of the U. S. with an unconstitutional central bank -- "The Federal Reserve System", and recklessly and needlessly embroiling the U. S. in a European war that got 117,000 American military personnel killed.
    3. Franklin D. Roosevelt -- for conspiring with the British to antagonize the Japanese government (with which we were at peace) into taking retaliatory action against us. The resulting entangling war with "the Axis" got over 405,000 American military personnel killed.
    4. Lyndon B. Johnson -- for lying and deception about the "Gulf of Tonkin", which embroiled the U. S. deeply into the civil war between North and South Vietnam getting approximately 60,000 American military personnel killed.

OK... that's the FIRST four ex-presidents. Now, how many more should be add to a growing 'impeachment' list...?

Considering that those 5 Republicans(including Romney) voted for the "legality" of the circus, that means two Republicans joined aboard.

So the most meaningless show in American history is finally over, but the Senate loses its reputation as a higher body to me for the farce of it all.

I still want to see him go at it again. The guy received 75 million votes even though the left had a four year campaign of hate going against him.

I don't think he ever really wanted to win the first time. He will dangle his foot as long as it keeps money rolling in though.

This was the best possible of all bad outcomes, but the Senate still gets railed, this time by progressives and the 7 Republicans will face GOP primary challenges by Trump-leaning "Republicans".

It was stupid, it was utterly and completely stupid. Only those with the authority to pass judgment(DOJ/Civilian court system) can pass judgment. This was just a wasteful and fruitless exercise.

The first president to be TWICE falsely and frivolously accused and prosecuted by the democrat scum for the "crime" of representing the American people, not the globalist Swamp/Liberal/Donor/Media ruling class.

    Never forget!

I'm happy to see Trump acquitted of yet ANOTHER crop of bullshit 'impeachment' charges, but, in truth, I don't really want to see him run again, either.

If he ran again, Trump would do so being as OLD as Biden is now! That's too damned old to be doing anything but trying to keep mental track of where the nearest bathroom is! :oldman:

Trump should not run again unless he has a long list of things to run on that a super majority of ordinary Americans will enthusiastically support.

Not how the rest of the world will see it. A bunch of self-seeking Republicans, fooled by the greatest conman in American History.
From A bystander from the UK who has watched Trump for years - and he's fooled many millions of Americans..

They can just as well strike impeachment form the constitution. If Trump wasn't impeached for what he did, nobody ever will. This just opened the door for every future president to just do as they please, without consideration of the consequences.

Ooh! My bad! I was in such a hurry that I typed, "Read it and week", which was fat-finger stupidity. But, those who "read it and WEEP" will surely get the difference almost immediately....

    Congratulations to you Donald Trump!

Now, I suggest you return to a fun life of being a billionaire and retire gracefully. You shook those hyperliberal Leftist, America-hating goons in the Democrat Party up so bad they'll NEVER get over it. :psychoitc:

For that, and THREE new, constitution-protecting Justices on the Supreme Court, the rest of us will thank you for many long years to come! :salute:.:flagus:

Sadly the US Constitution permits the Congress to impeach its president for whatever reason it determines impeachable. Therein lies the conundrum.

They had nothing. Propaganda doesn't count. Trump literally said before the riots to "protest peacefully and patriotically". Then, during the riots he came out and told people to "Go Home".

What a waste of time when Congress could be helping Small Businesses, Children in Schools, and the American People. What a bunch of scumbag swap creatures we have in the Congress and that includes many Republicans.

My favorite part was watching the vermin vote for witnesses this morning, only to realize Trump's team was going to put Nancy Pelosi, Kamala Harris, and Chuck Schumer under oath... suddenly the vote didn't matter and witnesses were no longer needed. The Democrat leadership are ghouls and cowards. They tried to abuse the system and got kicked in the teeth for it. We will never forget the abuse they unleashed on the American people when they could have been helping the children in schools, small businesses, and Americans out of work.
