I get what the reference was to money changers, but how exactly does that have anything to do with modern day Christian Capitalists? I don't know of any modern day Christian Capitalists that sell doves. LOL!

It is the Christian in you that causes you to hate liberals. A great deal of the cause of the rise of the Rush Limbaugh/Donald Trump conservative movement is rooted in the strong anti liberal message that is part of the Christian narrative. This is especially so within the Evangelical community. It is why so many conservatives have a habit of mischaracterizing liberals. Which just shows us that people like you tend to hate the liberals described in your ideology, and not real life liberals. It is pretty easy to hate on people one was taught was bad, growing up.

 

Jesus' teachings are inherently incompatible with greed-based free market capitalism. Jesus called the money changers "thieves" in the Matthew verse. Today, they are called investment bankers.
