He didn't have to dodge the question. I'm not faulting him for doing so; sometimes questions should be dodged, but that's what he did.

Joe Biden has been selling out Americans as he sold his office since he did it with the Finance Industry as a Senator. He made it much harder for the poor to declare bankruptcy.

 

trump's second press conference would only come more than a year after his first one. So I guess you republicans are going to stop whining about this until 2022 right? Haha. I kid. Of course you won't.
I think press conferences are important, and should be held regularly. Biden just had one. I will bet you dollar to donuts he has a second one well before trump had his second one.

Yes, Trump's press conferences were circuses. And nobody is shy about anything. Biden got plenty of questions on the border. And Trump flubbed plenty of softball questions, especially during the covid briefings. I think it's just a hot-button issue Biden doesn't want to directly address right now.

 

Unless he said we should drink bleach, I think he did well.

Smart people prepare for press conferences. They bring notes. The only one I can think of that doesn't bring notes is Trump. He must not be a smart person.

Nope uncommon as the White House reporters and former press secretaries I have been listening to afterwards quickly noted. A note or two maybe but not a briefing book and having to read verbatim answers. In fact if you watch he had the briefing book with the canned asnwers, he pulled another memory card from his pocket and then had ANOTHER notebook he was finding his answers in.
