Here's a tiny excerpt from the article: (this is her FIFTH point. You can read 1-4 on the link)

"Five: Melanin endows Blacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities -- something which cannot be measured based on Eurocentric standards."

She is 100% free to think a certain race is mentally superior but should one with that opinion hold the position she now holds?
Would a white person that said the same thing about whites be able to uphold this position?

Please share your thoughts on a racist holding a civil rights position

    Thanks

Without the freedom of expression all civil rights will depend on the weather.

KRISTEN CLARKE ORGANIZED CONFERENCE THAT CHAMPIONED COP-KILLERS

Kristen Clarke, Joe Biden’s nominee to lead the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division, organized a conference at which left-wing activists championed cop-killers and backed the freeing of violent criminals:
Clarke previously admitted only to being "a contact" for the conference.

The conference Clarke organized about was mainly about freeing cop-killers and radical extremists:
Attacks on the Capitol, the “temple of our democracy” — didn’t bother Clarke as much back then.

One of the speakers, Safiya Bukhari, founder of the Free Mumia Abu-Jamal Coalition, downplayed the Holocaust, saying it “was only 6 million Jews killed in the camps and prisons of Germany and Poland.”

Clarke really liked that. A few years earlier, she "invited a notorious anti-Semite to speak at Harvard and then endorsed his attacks on Jews."

High-ranking Justice Department nominees supporting cop-killers? Clarke held the mere college writings of a Trump nominee against that nominee, Law school activism is more relevant than college writings.

Good patriotic Senators should hold Clarke’s celebration of cop killers against her. They should add it to the list of reasons not to confirm her, let's hope to God that there are 51 of them.

I don't consider myself a lefty but why is it YOU think she is a racist? If you do believe she is a racist how did you reach that conclusion?

Lol...I don’t think they’re ignoring racism so much as ignoring the lying bullshit faux outrage the right wing media like to spew.

Here's how you can tell whether it's okay. If someone said exactly the same thing about White people (that they have 'greater abilities'), would you regard that as inappropriate?

I am saying that no reasonable person should believe the bullshit that tucker trots out on his show.
It’s all really just harmless dog whistles to entertain the white supremacists and seditious trump cultists and keep milking them for donations.
After all, that’s the excuse they used to deny tucker’s lies about stolen elections when they got sued by Dominion.
I guess you fell for it again.

She either said it or she did not, Tucker is just a distraction you are using to ignore her blatant racism. We know, racism is fine....for some...

Aren't you always hollering about how people are off topic when they don't address what the OP of a thread is about? Not sticking to your own standards I see....

Or maybe she said something close and Tucker distorted it.

Tucker Carlson is more of a lying POS than even Trump was. If he says that it's dark at night I will wonder when a second sun came into existence.

Even his own network has admitted this, (refer to post 14.) He's like Alex Jones, an "infotainer". Nothing he says is really meant to be taken seriously, (Until it is)

I am searching for the quote he used AND the CONTEXT it was written in. Until I find it please note I will be practicing my blank stare at the monitor

Are you asking if someone said the same thing about white people or was in a situation like Clarke?

She wrote it with a another writer in The Harvard Crimson back in 1994. The piece was entitled "Blacks Seek an End to Abuse" It was in response to "The Bell Curve: Intelligence and Class Structure in American Life" a novel written by Charles Murray and Richard J. Herrnstein. Here is an excerpt for the last paragraph of the article which I will link to just below the quote:

LINK: Blacks Seek An End to Abuse | Opinion | The Harvard Crimson (thecrimson.com)

There is your context. What say you?

i have never heard of this person or her history (as reported by faux). concluding that i support (or not) anything from my silence on a subject like that is a bit sketchy.

for the record, i oppose racism.

Just a minor correction that The Bell Curve isn't a novel, but an analytical study of data comparing intelligence to life outcomes.

The important term you quoted is "eurocentric." That means that blacks don't do as well as white people in IQ tests developed in majority white countries. I believe it is true. I suppose you could develop an "afrocentric" IQ test that would cause blacks to outperform whites. The author should work on that.

In a nutshell, it is all nonsense. Beneath the skin all human beings are exactly the same. There is no reason to think that dark skin and African appearance has anything at all to do with the brain. I should also mention that I believe Asians outperform whites in "eurocentric" IQ tests.
