You though what you have been brainwashed to think. We should only welcome people that have skills and education that can benefit our country. Not become the dumping ground for the world's unskilled and uneducated. We already have plenty of unskilled and uneducated people of our own.

In my experience, diversity means anyone that has a skin color other than white unless you are white and sexually abnormal. Has nothing to do with education, skill, benefit, or poverty level. We shall only judge people by the color of their skin and not the content of their character. In fact, we aren't even going to do a background check in order to look at the content of their character.

Britain and the US are what they are today due to thousands of years of diversity. From the original Britons, who ever they were, through invasion and domination by Celts, Romans, the Norse, Anglo-Saxons and Normans followed by influencers such as the Huguenots, Hapsburgs and people from throughout the British Empire.
Culture is ever changing, there are no Anglo-Saxons left. They were but a moment in time and frankly no better than the Romans who preceded them and the Normans who usurped them. In fact their time was known as the Dark Age.
