It’s fine to have empathy I’d not want the company of those without it. That’s not to say doing incredibly stupid things are acceptable at any level.

 

Don't forget the steady stream of income illegal immigration provides these cartels so they can continue to grow and strengthen their grip on those poor people. Turning a blind eye to illegal immigration is not a position of concern for human life.

 

I was a volunteer child abuse advocate years ago. I just couldn't handle how the courts and CPS families. It was the most painful of anything I've done (including being a cop for a short time).

I know a woman right now that has 3 daughters. She takes inappropriate photos of them and sells them on various websites. I've cut contact with her after I learned about that. I reported her twice and nothing was done. The "best interest of the child" is just what they put in their mission statements. They are DESTROYING families. I guess they have to get their quota of mental health patients when these abused children grow up.

It's sick and dysfunctional on so many levels.

I read something a few months back about adults pretending to be related to a child (because they won't send kids back).

I am not racist but it bothers me that just anybody can come here to build a life. I understand wanting to escape whatever is happening where hey are from but I don't know of even ONE other country that will take it everybody. Americans (USA) are generally hated around the world. There is no way they would take us in at the volume we do it.

So, why do we have to pay for everybody else? Why are our own citizens in need and can't get assistance but everybody else can? It doesn't matter to me where they are from.

Our citizens.
Out active duty and veterans.
Our seniors.
Our differently-abled.
Our poor.
Our mentally challenged.
Our citizens with mental health needs.
Our children.
Our undereducated.

Our teachers.
Our law enforcement.
Our front line workers.

Our...you get the idea.

I don't mean to sound selfish but when you're on a plane with a child or senior, they tell you to "in an emergency, put on YOUR OWN oxygen mask before helping someone else." We're doling out oxygen masks to everybody else first.

It's a system that is designed to FAIL and guess who gets to pick up the check?

Because Americans have become too weak and brainwashed to stand up and fight against it.

And that pitiful state of inaction is not to be taken lightly.... it is the precursor to America's total destruction.

All Cubans who managed to set foot on U.S. soil from 1995 through January 2017 were allowed to remain and be on a path to citizenship not granted to anyone else. Now they are treated like all illegal immigrants as they ALWAYS SHOULD HAVE BEEN.

 

I really have a hard time wanting to accept that. We just have to get back to basics and start being neighborly and proactive again. We can't go down now. I refuse to think of that as a possibility.

Note if Dems thought those poor Latinos would vote 60% Republican, we'd have not only a wall but mine field and machine gun turrets to keep them out.

You think that Trump was not tougher on immigration than this administration? Because this administration very quickly scrapped every single Trump immigration policy, such as processing outside of Mexico. Perhaps you didn't read the statement properly.

 

If the get to the shore's of Miami Beach with Customs and Border Security and Immigration officials be there to pull them up on the beach? If their boat docks will they lower a ladder to them? Well they send them to dissiminate throughout the country, be given free healthcare and the children placed in schools? Then will they be able to bring their entire family here?

 

I don’t have the words for how awful that is. I’d say we both know how the gov fails on so many levels for things like this.
