Well just take a look around, its a big deal. Its a big deal for world trade, its a big deal for the plunging stock market, its a big deal for our over-stressed healthcare system, and its a big deal for families of the 600,000 and counting dead Americans. Being vaccinated and wearing a mask isn't living in fear its doing your part to keep your country strong.

 

I had to walk away and become an Independent. I just couldn't abide watching so many of the core tenets of Conservatism being nullified and rendered hollow by the [general] right-wing attitude/behavior regarding COVID. Tenets like: Personal and civic responsibility (wearing masks, getting vaccinated), respect for law & order (not defying shutdowns or ignoring mask requirements), being pro-life (not using the death of others to justify selfish desires), keeping God's commands to love others as we love Him, serve the needs of our community, and defend the weak (all COVID mitigation accomplishes this).
