@Jack Hays has a great thread about the climate models being exaggerated. I think lies have came from both sides.

I work for the oil and gas industry. Not in a corporate level so I can’t say what they lie about. But I can say they’re not scared of the world moving to renewables. The products needed to build these cars still come from oil. There was a corporate email that came out about two years ago that if everyone went to electric cars today it would cause an increase in demand of oil.

Jack unfortunately gets most of his information from blogs, most of whom are funded by Big Oil

While you're on a tangent about what others are or are not doing..... do you live off grid? Use a bike for transportation? Raise your own food?

How do you know I don’t? That I am not tapping this out on an ancient solar powered computer?
And who told you that is how we are supposed to live?

I answered with a counter question which you have ignored as you ignored my answer about the ice ages

Tell me more about how the ice ages are relevant to Exxon Mobil and big oil lying about climate change

You mean, welcome to your ignore list where people don't agree with you. Most adults welcome opposing views. But the left has become the same as you. Agree with me or else.

Its called having a tantrum when you can't have your way or hiding when you can't dispute a post that makes you angry.

Retiring to your safe space is the common denominator among the left.

Truly though… we can not go to all renewables. It’s an absurd idea. Without gas being used at some level it will become so overly expensive to extract oil just for your polymers that everyone is in love with. Road base would be so expensive you may end up going to concrete. The soles of you shoes may turn into leather again. Glass bottles will be back in style. The cotton industry will boom again to make your shirts. There are alternatives but more expensive than the current products.

That's not how this works. You started this thread and every question to you for a debate, you've dodged and weaved.

    No one is surprised.

Who said we have to go “all on to renewables? “. The answer to the climate problem is going to be multipronged

New battery tech will really revolutionise the grid

    https://cleantechnica.com/2021/07/24/form-energy-reveals-iron-air-100-hour-storage-battery/

We are going to invent our way out of this bit the first steps in that are to make the playing field level

Circuitry is the big question. If everything went back in time back to leathers, cottons, wool, glass etc. What would circuitry go back to? It has always used oil based products for circuit boards. I wonder if you can use glass or some sort of stiff paper.

Once again then I asked what ice ages have to do with a disinformation campaign run by the big oil companies?

Those countries which pollute this planet should be forced to pay in proportion to exactly how polluted each one actually is!

So, here they are, based on real 2.5PM data >> : https://www.iqair.com/world-most-polluted-countries

Scroll way down and you'll see the United States at EIGHTY-FOURTH on the list! And yet the 'woke' libs want to tax the living hell out of us in America to pay by far the most to clean up everyone else's mess!

Oh, BTW, India is number THREE on this list, and CHINA is number FOURTEEN! How much 'payment' does anyone think they'll get out of either of those 'heavy-hitters'...?! :roflol::omg:

Who the F is suggesting we do away with circuit boards?
Wow! Trying to keep this thread on track with the OP is hard work.. especially since half the respondents seem to think that addressing climate change means we have to dress in animal skins and sit in mud huts.

Seems the climate science disinformation campaign has been very successful

You’re wanting to sue the oil industry out of existence right? Circuit boards would go with it.

The OP wasn’t about addressing climate change it was about suing people for lies about it.

    Gee wouldn’t it be nice then if there were some sort of international agreement where we could hold other countries to account, not spend so much ourselves and get good global outcomes? We could even call it after the city it was drawn up in like Paris……..;roll;

OH! And “pollution” is not the same as carbon production
