Opponents. How has gay marriage negatively effected your life?

I don't buy this everybody's bigoted nonsense. That's just what people say to try and avoid growth.

What is my bigotry?

 

Don’t be disingenuous. Because you’re not trying to get an answer. You got MANY answers. You’re just trying to argue that your answer is more correct than theirs because you want to insult the person you disagree with (in this case Jack and anyone who agrees with him) by calling him a bigot. You’re using a debate tactic which is taught in any rudimentary college debate club to insult the other side without openly doing so. So don’t sit here and pretend you’re just trying to understand the other side.

But at the end of the day, your answer doesn’t matter lol.

the reason I think he did this isn't really bigotry. I use that term to point out to you the excuses you're making and why their excuses and not reasons.

The reason I think he did this is strictly political. He objected to legal recognition of same-sex marriage and this is simply his protest.

Are you also think it is in defiance of the type of people that would try and force him to do it.

Here's a better analogy.

A Mormon mission group needs to take some of their missionaries to a different part of the country but their van needs some work even though I don't think what they're doing is right. Especially if they insist on paying me.

That's a similar thing I'm objecting to something that isn't illegal that is a personal choice someone has made that I don't agree with on religious grounds.

The only differences I don't make headlines if I deny the Mormons repairs on their van.

I didn’t say anything about sex. But even so... yes that’s bigotry. Just because you provide reasoning for your bigotry doesn’t change that it’s bigotry. The Christians who don’t want to serve gays provide reasons for their bigotry as well.

And for the record this is a great time to point out that not all bigotry is bad. It’s good to be bigoted towards people who want to marry children.

A “minor attracted person” as the democrats want us to call them now would say that him having a loving caring relationship with an 11 year old who loves and cares for him is not evil and is no different than any other relationship between two people who love each other.
